1) I got a 35 on the MCAT, should I retake?
2) I got a 10 on the MCAT, should I retake?
3) Do you really need to volunteer, do research, or get clinical experience?

Oh good lord there are too many to choose from. Cupcakes are my favorite things to make. Red velvet is up there. As is devil's food with peanut butter frosting. But I also love the classic yellow cake with vanilla (Magnolia bakery cookbook) frosting and sprinkles.

Some intriguing recipes I have yet to try: margarita cupcakes, Irish car bomb cupcakes (Guinness chocolate cake, whiskey ganache, Baileys buttercream), lemon meringue pie cupcakes (w/ lemon curd filling).

1) Will the B i just got that lowers my GPA from 3.9 --> 3.85 destroy my chances at medical school?

2) i just got a 35 mcat, can i not get into harvard should i retake?

3) Im accepted to medical school, but its a "low ranked" one, apparently only harvard and top 10 medical schools graduate competent docs, should i turn down my one and only acceptance for the snowballs chance in hell that i get into harvard?🙄


as for cupcakes anything with creamcheese frosting 🙂

In no particular order:
1. I really like biology but I also like chemistry. Should I be a biology or biochemistry major?
2. I got a B in orgo lab. Can I still get into med school?
3. I got a 14 on PS but I didn't eat breakfast that morning and my pencil wasn't sharpened and the person next to me was thinking really loudly, like REALLY loudly. I know I can get a 15, should I retake?

Red velvet with cream cheese sounds AWESOME, but I've never had it.

My favorite kind of cake, in general, is chocolate with butter cream icing. Oooh yeah.

Hmmm. I feel like I'm going to miss something obvious.

Whether things should be included on AMCAS that either shouldn't be included at all (I quit smoking?!?!?) or obviously should be (I've been playing guitar for 9 years).

I got a B+ in Jewelry-making, and now my 4.0 GPA is ruined. Should I retake? :slap:

I'm trying to think of something really good for #3. I'll get back to you.
 
I don't think I eat enough cake/cupcakes to have a fav, although I do very much enjoy vanilla/dark chocolate with a mousse-consistency frosting. Strawberries or raspberries wouldn't hurt either.

Premed food/TV shows/cars/sexual fantasies? They're never just "What kind of food do you eat?" it's "What kind of food do you eat as a premed?"... I just... I have no words for how friggin' stupid those posts are.

That's awesome. When I was a kid I was too dumb to realize it was Bambi with dinosaurs, but I still loved it. Which one are they on now? Land Before Time 17?

Haha, I agree with all that have been said so far, and I'd like to add:

1) Should I break up with my girlfriend/boyfriend/houseplant? (If you have to ask, you already know the answer.)

2) I killed someone/got a DUI/cheated a lot/beat my gf - do you think my chances are good?

Also, the 40/3.9 WAMC threads are pretty irritating. As well as MD/DO and URMs.

I actually don't like cake, in general. The only exceptions are funfetti cake, and cupcakes from here http://www.babycakessandiego.com/.
It is a tie between Black Bottom (Chocolate with chunks of cheesecake, raspberry and fudge in the bottom) and Vanilla Raspberry.

1. So, uh, I went to community college...do I REALLY have to tell anyone that I did? I mean, those classes weren't for my major or anything. Can't I just not put it on my AMCAS?
2. I have (insert reason why I am super awesome and a great premed candidate here). Do I even stand a shot?
3. I have (insert reason why I have super low self esteem and don't believe in myself here) or (insert 1.55 GPA and 11MCAT here); why do people keep telling me that I need to change how I am doing things?

I also <3 The American Tail. Chicklet liked that one, too. There's a funny thing about that movie and me and the hubs, too, but I don't really want to post it.
