With good reason. I've been telling myself for years that I will be nothing like my parents when I have kids. I mean I love them, but in all honesty, they can be real batsh** crazy!

You're built like a T-Rex (big legs, little arms), you have a funky haircut...or want a funky haircut but don't have one because you're conforming. And maybe you bite your nails.
Edit: I am not as confident about this one as I was about the last one. I'm only like 65% on it instead of 90%. I was more taunting you with my mental image😉

not even close on anything except race, height, and how people respond to me. T-rex, wtf lol!
 
I'm 5'8" with a totally normal haircut, don't bite my nails, and average bulk upper and lower body except the thousands of hours of tennis has given me really defined chest and abs. A lot of people don't know this, but most of the power for a tennis shot comes from twisting your torso. My worst feature = big ears. My personality = complete failure--all the people I want to like me don't like me and all the people I find unbearably annoying won't leave me alone.

I'm gonna have to come up with something for my mental image of you that can match a t-rex analogy rofl

I just tried to come up with a mental image of you, but I gave up. I would have just been bs-ing the whole thing except that you're taller than me.

Just for fun, here's the bs i came up with: you're tall. Personality=doesn't suffer fools gladly, and likes to hang out with a select group of people you know aren't fools. Ummm....what else...I guess since I'm making stuff up, i shouldn't have to think so hard. I'm gonna go with that you really like those toe-socks that are colorful and are like gloves for your feet, but always thought they were too vapid and hannah montana-ey to buy any for yourself. <--that is my revenge for the t-rex thing

Is there anyone you have a really strong mental image of? I feel like there were some people I had nothing for, but others I had fairly defined ideas of what they'd look like.

Cougs is hard, I don't think I would have guessed without seeing her.

cougs is hard for me too. Mainly because her avatar pic gets in the way. I keep imagining her as the guy on the left holding a pineapple.

Tennis also gives you big arms. Or a big arm on your serving side. Slightly awkward. Aww now I miss playing tennis.

Otherwise I would have told him that I am NOT cooking for him again, that he needs to do his own ****ing dishes, that my offer to take him to Magic Mountain (on my dime) was really-****ing-generous and he should have been grateful instead of agreeing then flaking at the last minute, and that when my dog comes up to him and nuzzles his hand, HE NEEDS TO PET HER.

I throw my kitchen sink sponge away once a week. I buy sponges at Costco so I always have a ton of new ones under the sink.

I use the sponge with a bleach cleanser and clean the sink and counter with it once a week or so and then I don't think it is good to do that then use it on dishes, so I toss it. I also think sponges are gross. I am not a germaphobe at all but sponges are kinda ew.

Because then they have to be different colors so that I don't mix them up which means I have to buy them somewhere other than Costco and then they cost 5x as much. I live alone...and now I know

I've already seen your pic, including with your pregnancy glow 🙂.

However, I'll describe a few things about you that are conjecture... I'm guessing in your living room you have at least one stage prop weapon on display, probably a bad ass sword. You also have at least one framed poster that is a cartoon drawing, perhaps of the lady hulk? Your computer is in your living room so you can watch the chicklet, movies, and chat on SDN simultaneously. I'm guessing you like to wear a lot of different sweaters (not at the same time or anything weird :laugh:) and wear square framed glasses (but hip ones). I'm also going to guess you like to carry big bags, and did this even before you needed it for the mommy stuff. You are down for the rpg, action movies, and comics... but I bet you also get your nails and hair done often.

Did I get anything right? 🙂

lol cougs i do the exact same thing literally. Get the blue ones and yellow ones from costco...either were both freaks, or great minds think alike...😛. My wife thinks its weird that i do this though

Hahaha, ok, well as long as I am not a TOTAL freak😉 I have a friend who is a total neat freak and I always thought that as long as I came in under her on any issue that I was ok, but apprently my sponge habits are weird.

He only found out about my sponge habits because he went to the sink and there was no sponge. And I said "Oh, I threw it away but there are more under the sink..." etc etc.

Wouldn't it have been weirder for him to go to the sink and for me to have to tell him he could only use a sponge of a specific color??🙂

Yes, that pretty much sucks. I plan to stash some business-y flats for walking around in. Also, I really hate matching suits but one does have to conform. The true question is what to do with my nose piercing... hm...

It's funny b/c that's the only alternative I can imagine being acceptable because most other alternatives look ultra frumpy.

Yeah, I mean I own a lot of really cute flats because my campus is literally made of all brick pathways and I prefer not to die on my way to class. I reaaalllly wish that I could get away with those. That and wearing a pant suit. But you have to account for all the types of people that may interview you, so... :shrug:

I don't see what would be wrong with a pant suit? It's a little fashion forward, but it's not like the women of the 90's didn't set a strong precedent for pantsuits. Although that also could be the reason they're not as accepted. Just don't wear gigantic shoulder pads =P
