That sucks about your roomate. I'm sure you will be too busy to bump-heads with the gay after you start school. I think the older I get, the less patience I have with annoying people. A bad roomate sounds like a nightmare. My gf won't be able to move with me if I have to go oos (at least not the first year), so I'll probably be in the same situation next year.
 
Just sent the UCSF secondary. I've been reading the UCSF thread from last year and just well, fantasizing. 🙂

lol its impossible not too man. If a school you really want to attend gives you any hope its over. Hopefully yours works out better then mine. Im still holding some hope that ucla will accept me ahah (even though i know the WL is over and done with and no one its getting off)

woman, lol. But yeah...aren't you going to Davis?! They're really close to my parent's house...a little too close. I would still love to go there. I shadowed in their ER, and it was AH-mazing!

edit: since it sounds like youve spent a lot of time near the davis area, any idea what areas are good to live in davis? Or is it basically fine anywhere? For M2-M4 im likely going to live in davis. idk anything about davis or sactown for that matter.

Hate to break it to you, but no one will ever think you are as handsome as your mommy. Moms can have a kid who has a giant boil 5 inches in diameter in the middle of its forehead oozing pus and emitting a horrible smell, and still think it is the best-looking kid on the planet.

I'm sure you're very handsome, though 😛

what's up? well...i remember when i said it was going to be the "summer of curbye!!!" then i took on wayyyy more than i should have in terms of jobs and projects for the summer and now i just realized that it's almost time for school to start...and i was kind of relieved.

feel sorry for me, starting.....now.
(i just said i was looking forward to school starting...)

so, ironically, much like george costanza, it is not the summer of curbye, rather, summer of never-going-outside-except-to-walk-from-job-to-starbucks-and-back-again

I forgot you were in pitt! I'll get there late on the 31st (time of flight + time difference > like 10 hours) and then I'll be leaving pretty soon after the interview on the 1st of sept. Interviews on the EC are gonna be sooo much more stressful overall for that reason.

I know what you mean about busy-ness and summer being almost over for sure. I think I might need to completely quit one job (I had postponed... but it's just proving to be way too much work with everything else). Taking 2 classes + working 25 hr/week + dance 4 nights/week + secondaries is a lot of stuff!

yes inception! 🙂. long story with roommate that im not comfortable with posting here, but basically long story short after some stuff happened, im not even able to get ahold of this person and its been a few weeks...im getting paranoid that when i get there i may not even have a house....not really sure what to do in this situation i dont wanna be a dick if theres a decent reason for this, but with school starting in <1 week...kinda paranoid if that makes sense.

On a much happier note i got confirmation today of some great news, bascially more free money from my school yay! 🙂. I never really understood why people wouldnt just go to the cheapest school possible but i totally get it now. I choose a school that will put me in about 100k less debt then anywhere else i got in at, but it wasnt my top choice or my number 1 even after interviewing, i keep thinking maybe i should have just chosen where i fell in love with. Then again when i pay my 1st loan payment in 4 years i may be like man what a great decision im a genius haha

Aw man =( Being apart is hard. As for the roommate, this is why I really want to just get my own solo studio apartment if there's not good campus housing.

I totally support going to the cheapest school. Debt is a bad thing and IMO a message needs to be sent that it's not okay to charge such a ridiculous amount. I honestly don't believe that "schools lose money even with high tuition."

Awe, I'm sorry about your dog. My puppy was really sick last week and it was horrible. She's doing a lot better now. I hope it turns out ok for your's.

Waiting for my friend to drop off her doggie for a doggie play date with my other dog. Then I may leave them to play and go to the movies🙂
