I think I've lost my touch lately. I need to recommit myself.

I think I have forgotten what it feels like to sit in class or be in lab...

This, on the other hand, sounds all too familiar

I agree. I am afraid when I start med school I will fall behind because I forgot how to sit through lecture/study !

Well, that's why I plan to sit in a class or two next semester - not actually take the class but just be a "guest."

Saw this book on my wanderings through tumblr. The title made me laugh:

attending lecture isnt the deciding factor....learning how to study efficiently will be, especially for people with exams every 2 weeks

I hear you, however, I think I have mastered that during undergrad - I don't think these skills are forgotten easily 😀

Getting busy at work, so will need to take a break from sdn...🙁

Btw, still haven't checked my email 😀

you mastered how to study, but not how to go to class? you haven't forgotten how to study, but not how to go to class? 😕

I don't know, I guess I just noticed when I was taking M1 classes that's where the biggest disparity arose between exam performances. Whether or not people went to class didn't seem to matter as much, especially since lecture was recorded. I didn't attend the classes I honored more or less than the others...but I'm sure you'll be fine since you're a master

I'm confused. Did you do an SMP?

Yeah, going to class is a part of my "routine" or really more like a ritual. Once I start doing that, my brain will remember the entire study cycle (go to class, study efficiently, take exams, etc) and this way I will be ready when med school classes start. I don't know if that makes sense to you...

You have taken M1 classes?? You mean in medical school, or just the classes medical students take? Anyway, I am sure you will do great too, you are a smart girl 🙂

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! I made it into the sig!!

don't get too psyched, it's coming down in a day or so. 🙁 it puts a smile on my face, but 6 quotes is massive and minerva had a point about my sig being really recognizable in other threads.

Too bad we can't have thread specific sigs. I'd make my 2016's a multiquote so long even codeblu would have to bow down to it
