These past few pages have forced me to whip out the Friends dvds. First up, every episode with my favorite side character:

Yep. Every. Single. Detail. The problem is my professor literally wrote the book on this stuff so she loves to go into excruciating detail. Fun times.

And slightly unrelated, we used Silverthorn for Physio in undergrad and it was one of the few textbooks I've ever actually really liked a lot.

i LOVED this book for renal. it's tiny and it's perfect. probably a little late to pass it on, but there are some good Q&As in each chapter if you want something else to look over. good luck!

I had Vander's (the generic) when I took physio as an undergrad. Good stuff. 👍 I'll definitely look at the renal book for next year though. 🙂

Yep, just taking a few graduate courses and doing some research on the side. I probably won't be attending MCV for med school though (they haven't even offered me an interview 😛).

Oh, that's too bad 🙁. I hope you get one and then get accepted :luck:

How do you like Dr. Costanzo? I hear she is an excellent teacher...

Very very good. She's got a good sense of humor, which makes lectures enjoyable (even considering the relatively dry material *ahem, renal*). Also she frequently ties in clinically relevant asides to keep things interesting.

Ask me the same question this time tomorrow (after her exam) and I might give you a different answer. 😛

I am so jelly - you are in my favorite school 🙂 Good luck on your exam, but you won't need it! I may bug you with some questions via PM (after your exam of course) 😀
