Sweet! 😀 Let's do it. I don't really gamble, but I like to watch other people gamble and get free drinks on the floor. 👍
You want tickets to the gun show?
😱I payed for a years worth of rent thanks to 13 consecutive hours of blackjack...
turned $500, into $10,000, payed rent for a year.
I was up 4500.... I was like... honestly I'm just gonna go big... so I bet it all... Ace, King for the win. Happiest day of life.

Well, then my 56V is going to be really unique then 😀They don't allow scores about a 45, just FYI.
Good, I'll need someone who's not gambling to look after me and make sure I don't lose my monies. And also help me get into clubs without having to pay.Sweet! 😀 Let's do it. I don't really gamble, but I like to watch other people gamble and get free drinks on the floor. 👍
I'm sure you murdered that beast!!!!
I felt certain about some questions on mine. Bad about others. It ended up working out for me. 🙂
Wow! I never spend more than $20 when I gamble. I always end up losing it anyways.
I always wanted to play blackjack, but I was always too chicken.
Screw blackjack, Roulette and craps are where its at. Great social games too, plus the payouts can be pretty big. And you don't have to spend 13 consecutive hours at the tables either
I hope so, I had a dream I had to take the test again, it was so real that I woke up drenched in sweat. I really don't want to go through the hell that was MCAT studying all over again.[/QUOTE]
I don't wish this on anybody!
I rather like blackjack... it's calculated risk. Roulette... not so much.
I have secrets... BWSTW... I will buy you that lotto ticket. I actually bought one today. A $5 dollar scratch off... only won 20 bucks. Net gain of 15.
Some might say I have a horseshoe stuck up my rear, I'd just like to think I know how to challenge the odds.
And I can teach you how to play great blackjack in an hour, over wine!
Ditto on the MCAT re-take. My re-take was not all that bad, because I actually studied properly the second time around. And I actually learned stuff, THANKS TBR!!!! 😍

However, I personally think that far too much emphasis is placed on the MCAT. It's actually a horrible test. It served it's purpose when enrollment was high, and attrition was even higher for medical school.
For cereal though... the MCAT is just another hoop. The MCAT my brother wrote the get into medical school in the 90's PALES in comparison to the one I wrote. Their MCAT was much easier by and large.
TBR and EK helped me alot. I still suck at physics though. 🙁I wish I used TBR. I also wish I took pre-reqs.
Freaking POS Kaplan books.

Kaplan... Gross.
Although, I hear their Qbank is great for USMLE step 1.
Now... USMLE Step 1... thats actually something I won't mind studying for. I hear it's most like the Bio Sci on the MCAT. And I loved studying for bio sci, hated PS. Grrr.
😍 You suck at physics? Just as I do??? I got an 8 the first time I took.
TBR and I cuddled and made g = Gm/r^2
I do! I get the concepts, just not the stupid math.Kaplan... Gross.

Love math. I got all the concepts too... but I just really got blown out of the water by my PS section. It was... OUT OF CONTROL.
Nothing like the practice tests. Hahaha.
My second MCAT BS super surprised me. It was almost all genetics and Orgo. no physio type questions. My first mcat had almost all physio type questions with some Amino orgo stuff.
ended up making the same score on both of them so it was like wtf "i dont know genetics i iz enngineer"

Heh.
My PS section was like "wtf how do I not know this I'm an engineer."
i felt that way when Gen Chem questions. it was a big big blow...luckily two of the passages where over stuff i did research over. Made me a happy boyHeh.
My PS section was like "wtf how do I not know this I'm an engineer."
Now that's hilarious.

lolol.
My BS section was "wtf I never took these classes."
14. Pwnt. This test makes no sense to me at all![]()
Exactly. Both times my PS was my lowest section. My highest was VR and writing which was a real WTF.lolol.

Neither to me.... the MCAT is stooooooopid
its a state of mind on the day type test. eff itI don't buy the whole... your MCAT score correlates with your step 1 score. It's hog wash. The USMLE tests knowledge. It's a knowledge based test. The MCAT is like an IQ test.

Injunirs dun reedz or ritez
I sure the heck hope not! I don't buy it either.
lolwriting.
Only wrote the intro for the second essay. Got a Q. 😕
I know someone that hit a 29, 3 years ago. She's a med student at Feinberg now.
They rocked a 238 on step 1.....soooooo yeah!
Huhhhhh? WTF. Howww!
Did she retake the MCAT, or did she get in with a 29?
I have no idea what to think about the application process. I see people like NickNaylor get rejected pre-interview from HMS, Stanford, and UPenn, then I see some scrub with inferior stats/ECs/non-URM get interviews to all of those schools.
She got in with a 29. I'm not gonna question the application process.
The adcom I met with yesterday said...
"Yes, now your application is at our mercy."
There's reasons behind why they do what they do NickNaylor may not have been the type of student they were looking for. They get a lot of NickNaylors... but this scrub you're talking about... He/She isn't so inferior... they must bring somethin else to the table.
