4th of July Weekend. No one is working. Those that are working, are so busy that they can't get to me.

I had a friend come and take a look, and he thinks the motor is blown.

Literally, BLOWN. Sooooo here I am, I suffer. I thought I could manage. Shoulda stayed with friends tonight, but I was like nahhh, I'll be ok.

NOPE, not ok.
 
Just walk around your house naked.

It's an oddly gratifying experience.
 
Hahaha, I do love McDonalds coffee. It's pretty on the ball.

However, I am not a fan of any of the food products really, EXCEPT chicken nuggets. Mmmmm

Actually I think it's been like five or six years since I've eaten anything at Micky D's.

I tried explaining that to my mom... how I forget to eat sometimes. She gets upset.

But when you're powering through stuff... you really do forget.

Do you have one of those famous hunger headaches?

I sadly go without eating alot. Not on purpose but on accident. When your schedule is wake up at 5, down a coffee, class from 8-8, plus studying for exam thats the following morning at 8, you forget to eat.

My mom dislikes that. Because of that though i can always expect a good meal when i go home.


Hunger head aches suck. The worst thing is watching food pr0n and having hunger head aches. Damn stumble upon

Have I ever said how much engineering can suck?


I was taking 23 credits at the time ughhh(4 online, 3 as research). It worked out that i had most of my classes on tuesday and thursday. Which began at 8 and lasted until 8(Labs are le death)


Good news was a free friday and monday. So 4 day weekend was awesome. I never used it wisely to study though...


Fact of the day: Engineering is detrimental to your health 👍
 
Amen to that.

I saw what some of my engineering friends went through. Just pure hell.
If I was in engineering, I would intentionally make my degree a 5 year degree vs. a 4 year degree.

Undoubtedly it would make it more tolerable.
 
5 years is smart. I luckily came in with around 49 or so hours from high school. So i just added a math and music minor. Still even without the minor my average semester hours would have been 16 hours a semester

The plus is now im taking 9 hours next semester. Ill be able to work two jobs and get some cash yaaay

Cash flow is good. The easiest semester I had... some blow off psych class, a seminar class on cancer models, and oh... that's all.

BEST semester ever.
 
I think im signed up for Senior Design, Medical Imaging, Biochem and Ultimate. Best part of my schedule is free thursday and fridays. Hopefully if i get any more interviews those two free days will work out nicely for travel and interviews.


Oh and le college stuff. that too

I sat in on an engineering class... I think it was an electrical class. It was right about the time I was studying MCAT physics. My friend needed a ride to class, so I did him the honor. But, I didn't have anything to do for the next 50 minutes, except wait to drive him back home. (Such a good friend)

So I brought my laptop and hung out in the class.... let me tell you... I was like WTF IS GOING ON IN THIS BITCH?

Comp Sci and programming classes were the worst. I just faked my way through it.

I'm taking a Calc class in the fall to meet some med school requirements. Taking freshman-level classes when you're a senior is honestly the best thing in the world. Such an ego boost compared to mbio and orgo.

Haha it's funny looking at all the young'ns and seeing their fear. My stat professor last semester made a freshman cry because she wouldn't put away her phone. She started sobbing in front of 80 people...awkward. I felt really bad. I did. But she was a seat behind me and I kept turning around to watch. It was like a car crash...you can't look away, no matter how hard you try...
 
Watching people get reamed is absolutely hilarious.

Especially when they react so awesomely... by crying or swearing or breaking down.

A prof reamed me out once for eating in class. Said it was rude. I said... "you know what's rude? you not being able to explain something so simple like diffusion. We've spent 10 minutes on this... can we get the show on the road?"

One of my more risque and stupid experiences. However, he was filling in for the regular prof. So it was acceptable.

people eat all the time in my class. In my material science class, people would have like gumbo and stuff.
