I don't really know. I was inebriated beyond all repair... don't even wanna get into it.

Lucky. At least you got a present. Whenever I'm drunk my friends just give me a microphone so I can embarrass myself at karaoke.

At let me tell you, No Doubt would be damn proud of my rendition of "Don't Speak." Just saying.

So jelly right now. My dream is "Hips Don't Lie." But none of my guy friends will ever sing Wyclef's part. 🙁

Did no one appreciate the Lafayette youtube video about the AIDS burger?

It was so funny.

It was. But we need to make a rule about posting TV references...reminds me of how many shows I need to start watching/catch up on 🙁

Guys, I mentioned in my Primary that I will be doing honors (I was officially signed up for the honors course.. and it showed in my transcript).. I've already taken honors seminar etc..

Now, just yesterday, I found out that my lab PI will not be able to give me a project to work on (I've been in this lab for year!!!).. so basically I won't be getting an honors..

How much of a difference this will make to my app cycle and how do I let the schools know that I won't be getting an honors.

😱 Such a ripoff. I'm sorry.

So does anyone else's parents think they're a hippie bum?

My parents nag on me for my sweatpant, cargo short, flip flop wearing lifestyle.

The fanciest I will go is a lacoste shirt... and maybe a pair of seven jeans.
Yeah, I will wear a suit when appropriate. But I'd much rather be comfortable.

I remember the first time I wrote my MCAT my dad was like you're going dressed like that?? I'm like... "who's gonna see me dad? My friends that are taking the test with me."

Nah. I dress better than my parents sometimes

I like wearing suits and dressing nice.

PARENTS ARE SO LAME.

But seriously, I've been kicking it in graphic t-shirts, khaki shorts, and my Sperry's. My ma told me I looked immature because I wore a Superman shirt today. I love dressing up though, especially suits. I'm gonna have to start dressing classy as I'm starting my summer job tomorrow.

Same here. My dad wears the same damn thing every day. Hat, t-shirt, shorts, and boat shoes.

I wear this one Columbia 1/4 zip too much...but it's just so comfortable...

My poor father considers orange athletics shorts, and a polo short appropriate attire while attending a senior recital. I quickly bought him some nice short to go along with the summer nice casual

Yeah yeah... there is proper time to dress up.

But like really... going to the library?

I see people donned in suits, reeking of Versace cologne.

Whoa whoa Cassanova, you can't penetrate your orgo textbook.

Well i mean you dont have to do full suit all the time. I mean for me a polo/collared shirt or a button down is pretty usual. Some jeans, casual kaki pants or shorts is my usual.

But if something is business casual, ill done my suit. Never bad to overdress. Makes it seem like you came from somewhere better

Did he manage to invert the stereochem? Or was he unable to just hit it from one side... had to to both?

I'm a baller... but I'm a laid back kind of guy. Over dressing isn't bad... but it's not comfortable either. I completely agree with Greg House on this matter. People that wear uncomfortable clothes are trying to compensate for lack of something else.

I showed up to shadow this doctor wearing a polo and khakis. Some kid was wearing a suit. The doc was wearing shorts and a polo, with those god awful Dex shoes. The kid in the suit looked mad out of place.

Well, perhaps if they used backside attack...

Edit: Darn, cuttingcorneas beat me to it.

This is why I shadow surgeons...scrubs all the way.

But on office days my surgeon asked me to wear dress slacks and a nice shirt. Nothing too fancy, but not jeans either. I guess it's easier for guys, they just have to throw on a polo and call it a day. Khakis on girls makes us look like we work at Target.

99...your time to shine, girl.

guess im compensating for my accent

First day of shadowing I would always wear a suit or a dress shirt and slacks. If the doctor was any more casual I would back off. Wearing scrubs during one shadowing experience was fun and super comfy.

FINALLY TOP !!!
