Class of 2016!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Well, since you all are so interested here is the plan for today.

Ah-hem

1. Finish the NYU secondary. This thing is a beast, but I would love to attend NYU.

2. Finish the PSU secondary - this thing is a littly kitty cat, but I could also see myself going here.

5.X For example, I need my school to open up a class for me because I need to take it this semester.

Report spam and other inappropriate posts by pressing the

button located to the left of the post.

Haha, if this works, half of us in this thread would be banned. Actually, 3/4 of us

I am going to report you all and get you banned because i am a gunner

Let's get to the point! Here's what you need to know when using the SDN Forums:

  1. Protect anonymity. Remember, the SDN Forums are followed by students, doctors, schools and professional organizations. Please keep your identity protected – don't post or use your real name on the forums. Additionally, members are not permitted to solicit personally identifiable information from other members or disclose another member's identity without their written permission.
  2. Be courteous and contribute positively. If you're not contributing to the forums in a positive manner, we reserve the right to temporarily or permanently close your account.
  3. Use the search functions. The SDN Forums have been here since 1999. Chances are, someone has already asked the same question you may have.
  4. Stay on topic. Our membership encourages open discussion and debate as long as it relates to the topic of the thread at hand. Posts which do not relate to the original purpose or topic of the thread may be moved to a more appropriate location.
  5. Don't advertise (SPAM). SDN is a nonprofit organization for students and doctors. It is not operated as a free service for promotion of your site, product or service. No ads in your signature, no ‘stealth' marketing, etc – those are quickly reported and result in banning and possibly blocking of your site/product/service's name from the SDN Forums. If you wish to benefit our membership while benefiting your organization, see our sponsorship section.
  6. Don't cross-post on the forums. Just post once. Posting a question or comment in multiple forums is annoying to other guests.
  7. Use the "Report Bad Post" button to report inappropriate posts. It's located at the bottom left of every post on the site. It immediately alerts the moderators.
  8. Respect copyrighted information. Selling or trading illegally copied materials is a federal offense; when discovered, SDN may report such piracy to copyright holders and appropriate agencies. Copying information from other Web sites hurts those sites ability to make revenue. Read the DMCA notice.
  9. Harassment and Flame-Wars burn everyone. Again, be courteous. Just ignore those guests that can't discuss topics professionally. Remember, the academic healthcare community is relatively small; don't behave in a manner which might get you into trouble now or in the future.
  10. Use common sense when posting images. No pornography or hateful images.
  11. Trolls suck. If you come upon a guest that is clearly trolling, report their post. Trolling is misuse of the SDN site in a fashion which interrupts forum activity and intentionally violates our site policies.
  12. TROLLS AND SPAMMERS BEWARE. Trolling and spamming interferes with operation of our nonprofit site. Those who troll or spam are trespassing on our network. We reserve the right to take any and all legal and technical remedies to prevent trolling and spamming of our network.
  13. Once you've posted on the site, it's there forever. We do not delete posts except in extreme cases. Even if we can remove a post that you regret posting, they are often permanently cataloged in sites like Google or the Internet Archive.
  14. Don't be a SPORK. SPORKS are people that indiscriminately use the "Report SPAM" button on their email account instead of the "Delete Mail" button. If you SPORK your account may be closed.
  15. Don't be a poser. Chances are you're not the dean of admissions or a neurosurgeon … and everyone knows it.
  16. Be sure to have fun! The educational process can be frustrating sometimes. We're all in it together and we're here to help each other. So, pull up a chair and enjoy the SDN Forums.

WTF - I;m back 2 hours later and no spam posts?

Class of 2016, I am disappoint.

sometimes I get annoyed that I'm in Africa and don't have regular internet so that I can have like over 5K in SDN posts by now...and then I go save an African baby instead. Can't win 'em all I guess.
