Weekend was really nice- your's? Hung out with some friends and had a good time. Did not go to see Northwestern- I walk around there all the time but have never gotten a formal tour.

Lame. Have exams this week, so I spent all weekend studying. 👎 After this week, I'll be free!

I think there may be less since the addition of the "most meaningful experiences" section.

That's a great point. This year may be the year there is a significant change in secondaries due to meaningful experiences. We'll have to wait and see

spam spam spam.. bahahaha.. I think I'm going to go to all the school specific threads from last year and make a list of all the secondaries and start calculating how many essays I need to write.. Especially since I'm a terrible and a terribly slow writer!
 
Applications haven't been submitted to medical schools, and this forum already has 64 pages. Wow.
 
In george wash secondary, it asks for the most important non-academic act. Does research count?

Hmmm. I would say that research falls under the academic category. Do you have some volunteering you could list instead?

Then again, you could probably get away with using research.
 
I was MIA from today's spam party! How is there a party without me?!?!😡😡😡😡

After today's final, got mexican food with a bunch of friends. Then napped due to extremely large meal. Don't know if I told you guys, but I was working out about a year ago and lost a butt load of weight. Today, after the final, previously mentioned bff carried me on piggyback all the way to my car, right down to the driver's seat 😀

Sounds good! And congrats on the weight loss. I've lost about 25 pounds since I started running (it was my MCAT weight... 🙂), and I've never felt better. I'm probably too thin now, though :shrug:

hmm, this was more 40 pounds! haha but then, I put about five because I, too, was getting thin! definitely a great feeling though!
 
I still have yet to submit my app...not really freaking out, but when I see the submission threat, my neurotic nature kicks in...😡🙁
 
also, woke up from my four hour nap, and I'm sleepy again! I want summer NAOOOOO!

I'm putting the finishing touches on my personal statement and I still need to fill in my activities and grades. I was playing major catch up with my classes after the MCAT so my app is SO behind. I know I want to submit after I get my score back, but I still have a lot of missing stuff in my app. Goal is the 1st of July....
