Hoagie = submarine sandwich = meats and veggies n' other deli fixings on bread = what is pictured.... until the meat is removed, at which point it simply becomes leaves n' loaves.

Depends on who you get to interview you. Here's my experience from it

Night before: Social. Good time for me to chat up with the pretty MS-2. Since it was loud as hell in there she was the only person i could hear or talk to(60 other people talking at the same time is loud). Worked out my favor as in it was quite enjoyable :laugh:. Afterwards I was hungry as heck so me and a friend stayed at Yagas to eat and drink some. Good night i guess

Day: Hot as hell but w/e im too cool to be affected my heat. The campus is great and they get you super pumped. Best food served here. Good breakfast and lunch. They kept reiterating that if we got an interview, our numbers were good enough so they were only trying to get to know us. My first interviewer did that. Got some hippie Gyno, which was awesome. Made me feel at ease. Second guy not so much. 80 year old PhD in the Radiology department. Asked me two questions then went on a 40 minute philosophical diatribe which began as an ethical question. I answered his questions correctly but he still went on a 40 minute philosophy talked. I made sure to seemed interested. Then i was free. Done at 2.

Your stats scream autoinvite from SW, which is super amazing. Best of luck that week. My weekend before that one is going to be just as crazy
 
It makes me a little bit sad that wys submitted like three weeks after me and has two interview invites while I have zero. 🙁 But then I remember that he's awesome and that I'm okay with it. 😀

You got an interview from CCLCM. It would make no sense to me if you didn't get an invite from UTSW 🙂

I may actually have to move my UTSW interview so that I can go on their Friday clinical rotation preview thing.

Im still scratching my head over that one. I see the people who got rejected and just kinda think if the ADCOMS thought i was someone else in my app :laugh::caution:

The way it looks like SW going is by the auto's first( i think the criteria is like 3.8+ and i think either 32+ or 34+) and then the rest. Still long season to go. Surprisingly its not one of my top choices :laugh: I have to bank on my URM here

They're criteria must be higher because I have a 3.9+ and 34+ and I didn't get an invite...

36+? I dunno. I do know there is an auto invite.

Maybe they haven't gotten to you yet. I just received my invite 10 minutes ago.

I forget, are you counted as OOS? That may be why.
 
BMEN, did your UTMB interviewer focus on hope for a terminally ill patient? I remember an applicant from last year (paul411) complaining that he thought he bombed the interview because some guy spent most of the interview lecturing him about hope. but now he's going to be a 1st-year student

I'm IS according to TMDSAS. They send invites after business hours? That's interesting...

I thanks him though. I told him it was a real eye opener, which truth be told it was.

Thats what i did., I said i would give hope, which is what Dr J implied in his speech. And when ever he said something i made sure my face and bod language gave the right response

Honestly, it's thoughts of interviews like these that make me so nervous.
