Houstonian here too 😀 Is it possible for the three of us to get an interview on the same date even though we submitted weeks apart from each other? That would be awesome!

My Ps was the last thing i did. Well that and the two other essays. I spent maybe a week on it after school ended. Everytime i did a good draft i rewarded myself with a beer. Then i ran out of beer to reward myself with so i told myself my PS was done.

I was reading a report that SEC admins might actually reject expansion if they can't guarantee that certain teams won't be invited to join (i.e. Florida --> FSU, Georgia --> GTech, South Carolina --> Clemson).

That would be pretty awkward if A&M voted to join the SEC, and the SEC voted not to expand.

YEa the 14th team kinda killed it for now. However, the SEC has not pursed yet to avoid lawsuits from the Big 12. They want A&M to submit an application to have the SEC vote on it. that way avoid litigation. Thats what A&M's meeting is tomorrow

I saved the PS for last too! Our committee required us to have a rough draft of the PS if we wanted to interview with them for a LOR. I didn't really take the PS draft seriously since I knew I would end up changing it a lot right before submitting it through AMCAS/TMDSAS. I ended up starting from scratch right after final exams 😛

We just had to do a questionare. 40 questions that was the activities,Ec's ect part of TMDSAS. The essays were optional. My questionnaire pretty much said

work in progress for the essay portion

Heh, I had to provide a PS for my LOR writers. Spent a month on it, and didn't even use it for TMDSAS / AMCAS :laugh:

Especially when you throw med school applications into the equation :scared:. What if I start a relationship now and end up having to move far away for med school?

Yea they give us a well written letter that counts as a 4th letter

hell ya. this research was the pitts. i hate doing cell mechanics stuff :laugh: . got really good experience out of it though which is good

Exactly. It's also nice to wear frozen washcloths when it was stupid hot all last month. Next summer I'm getting an AC unit. I don't know WTF I was thinking.
 
I'd be lying if I said an American school is my top choice right now...

Tuition is STUPID here. If I get into McGill, I could pay for med school out of pocket. A total of 15K for my MD.

Versus the 40K+ PER YEAR at most schools.

If i get into the College Program, hell yes no doubt about it of it as of now. Full tuition paid for 4 years . all sorts of special seminars and classes for it. Free laptop. I applied NSF funding for one year of research so that covers my 5th year
