Class of 2016!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Just finished having my talk with the Directory of the diversity dept at Mizzou. Totally applying there now. She was amazing, she answered all my questions (including my hangups about my numbers) and even stated she liked my ECs and personal statement. She gave me advice on how to approach secondaries, and even suggested some other schools I should apply to. Complete and total 180 compared to my meeting with UCI. I feel so empowered. :soexcited:

Now if only AMCAS would verify my app.🙄

That's awesome! You and Bmellow could be classmates! 😀

Also, PLEASE APPLY TO COLORADO! They love non-trads, and your moving to Colorado would like double the number of minorities living here.

Awesome! Good luck to you! Maybe we will be classmates. :luck::xf:

what is your top choice?

I have strong desire of working and living in the metro Detroit area so I would like to start that as soon as possible which makes Wayne and Oakland my two top schools. I'm currently at Michigan, so naturally that is also at the top of my list as well (it's quite a stretch with my stats tho). But honestly, I did research on all the schools I've applied and could see myself at any of them. I'm just going to keep my :xf:!

And when med school (hopefully) begins :luck:, I'm going to be very interested in meeting all the fellow SDNers

you and CB could meet up. 👍

Denver right?

The med school is in Denver, but that's what the whole state is like. Actually, that's not really true. There are a lot of people here of Hispanic descent, and Denver has a very rich black community. But it isn't as diverse as, say, LA or Miami or DC.

What's the OOS tuition for Colorado again? :meanie:

Worth every penny, my friend. 😍

This. Isn't. FUNNY.

you know what is though, the garfield strips without garfield in them. So great

got to garfieldminusgarfield.net, you'll be glad you did.

totally didn't see that garfield minus garfield was already mentioned -______-

My day just started like an hour ago haha

hmmmm, that's 7 hours away though. 🙁

I don't know if I'm going to apply to Colorado. I'm all burnt out with secondaries. 🙁

Can we be Mizzou classmates pleeeease? 😀

Lizard just ran onto my foot from under the fridge. I just about peed my pants.

I feel like I had to write something for them...were they one of those schools that you have to explain speeding tickets?

Yep which I still don't see much of a point for. I'd be pretty upset if my speeding ticket from when I was 16 kept me from an II

What's the question though? 😳

It's about either a) going through hardships, or b) what has made you appreciate other peoples' hardships.

I wish all secondaries were as long as Penn States secondaries 50 words 😎😎😎

Awesome.

University of Rochester has none. You just pay them. You only get essays if they invite you to interview. 😍

Awww, I didn't know Rochester gives you essays if they invite you to interview. That almost makes me hope they don't interview me.

I could totally rock that actually...I have a good life experience for those types of questions.

But, but...come to Rochester!!
