Another episode in the "phobia" series centered on women who were afraid of frogs, cotton balls, and Jello

Seems like the '16ers are getting bored 🙂. I'm curious to see how the posts change as the secondaries start trickling in. Then interviews 😱.

Stupid? Yes
Pointless? Yes
Annoying? Yes
Message? Yes

It sounds very cold, but I've heard great things about their admissions staff and process. What's your top choice?

Haha, nope. I think UMich is awesome, but I'm not applying there. Too big of a reach for me.

UMich is where decency goes to die. Dwight Howard --> Miami. That would just be mind-blowing.

Oh no you din'nt

Are you looking to stay in Indiana?

Not a snowball's chance... native Kansas with coastal curiosities. So it's either Kansas or 2000 miles away in either direction. I've got a short list and a long list for schools to attend, but perusing MDapps is kind of depressing and will undoubtedly shorten my list considerably before I end up submitting.

Nice. Go for NYC.

I have too many favs to decide which is my "top" choice. 🙂

I imagine UMich gets FRIGID.

That would ruin the NBA.

Dude, first secondary essay is revealed. Auto-invites will start soon. Wow. I'm getting anxious. Need to freaking submit that primary next week!

Please. When LeBron went to the Heat, EVERYONE was like, "it's not fair!", "the game will be ruined!", "the spirit of basketball has been tarnished!", etc. What happened? The Mavs, who I didn't even think would be a contender, won the championship. Goes to show you, that even when the odds are in your favor, nothing is ever certain, even if you had 4 of the best players in the NBA on your team.

Analysts were claiming that the Finals would be Lakers vs. Heat. Oh, okay. 🙄

Does not compute.

I gotta buy wine for my advisor for writing that LOR. I'm heading up to the school this week to watch my friend defend and he's on her committee.

West side... of Chicago. 😛

I was just commenting on the: gotta buy wine, then meet with kids from West-side part. 😛

You should have advisors scrambling to write you LORs if it comes with wine.

The Heat lost this year for three reasons:

1) LBJ and D-Wade are the same type of player

2) They lacked a dominant big man. Bosh is more of a 3 than a 4-5.

3) They lacked depth

Number 2 would be covered by the best big in the league. Number 3- ok, who cares- Dwight Howard is on the team now, do you really need your JJ Bareas and Jason Terrys running around to be the best at this point? Number one, well, if they figured out a way to make it work such that one player can play off the ball, then, yes, the NBA would be ruined completely and utterly.

Mavs were big time contenders all year until Dirk and Caron Butler were hurt. Dirk just picked it up come playoff time and recaptured what they were flirting with early in the season.

Anything can happen, but the odds would tilt heavily towards the Heat, ruining the NBA if those odds succeeded over and over again as I expect they would.
