I say "hey, dumba**es!" That usually clears up any geoidiosyncratic confusion. And as a Kansan, I must say that y'all is fairly prevalent here as well. All the best cowboys were in Kansas. TRUTH.

South Carolina is technically part of Texas. We just let them have their own state because we thought they were nice people.

yup. despite being super touristy, i like myrtle beach in the off-season, and we have some well-to-do family friends in hilton head. i don't care if it's a glorified retirement community; the beaches (and golf courses) are beautiful

Or MAYBE you just FEEL stupider by comparison. It's like being the new guy at a MENSA convention. No? Yeah, didn't really think so...

I concur that sleep is for the weak. I have won literally every fight I have had with unconscious people.

Even if you're on the West Coast, you keep some weird hours if you're still working. Graveyard shift?
