Just made some changed to my PS - can anyone take a quick read?

For those of you applying to GWU and also attended graduate school or a post-bacc, you might want to check out my latest post on the SSD thread for the school. Very strange.

Steve, thanks for posting that info! I was wavering a bit on whether or not to apply to GW, and this might push me towards the "not apply" category. I figure if I'm not willing to get an adviser letter to be a viable candidate, I must not really love the school enough to apply.

jokes cannot be so easily dismissed! fortunately twisters are usually courteous enough to avoid the big cities. take your laptop into a bath tub and you should be more or less okay

EDIT: MAKE SURE THE TUB IS NOT FULL OF WATER!!! Then you will most definitely NOT be okay.

It's 80 degrees, no humidity, and sunny here. 😛

I'm giving myself a ten-day turnaround time for these secondaries.. I think I'm good thus far. And this kid with downs is sniffing his armpits and telling the coffee shop how badly it stinks. :laugh:
 
that sorta sucks about GWU. I very nearly took a grad course just for kicks and gigs where I work because I get a tuition waiver, but that would have made this whole process SO much more complicated.

Laziness ftw

As much as I will destroy you for this, and as much as I love the park, if it removes what I think is the only reason the douches are willing to pay $$$ (and thus remove the reason the ownership doesn't bother to field a good team), I suppose I wouldn't cry.

man i don't know what to do with this guy

he flakes on me for my celebration, calls me best friend (known for 5 years), calls other people best friend, flakes on me occasionally, going to vegas july 4th weekend (hope he doesnt flake)...

im so disappointed..


well off to sake bombs with my lady and 4 ladies

You missed out on this discussion earlier in the thread- the ladies here talked about "flaky" guys for like three pages. The guys (including me) proceeded to claim that it is a two-way street. Lesson is- let them chase you.

no worries, friend. i think the "normies" just have difficulty understanding the gravity of each and every painful step in this process. i'm sure you'll have a blast together on the 4th. please just remember to survive vegas. medical school awaits you now

i think i'm going to make a dichotomous key to explain when you know you are correct as a male interacting with a female. invariably it ends with you being called a "jerk" or a "jackass," and while these are clear admissions of defeat, you have to still pretend to know you are wrong or an irrational storm of vengeance will bury your face in a mega-slap.

this discussion was probably ~100 pages of posts ago (i.e. roughly 25 minutes or so), and it's definitely for the best that i was not here to weigh in
