My friends are like yeah yeah... shut up. We get it, applying to med school sucks.

My brother is a vascular surgeon.. (lots to live up to)... applying wasn't this stressful back in the day.

My parents... well they just don't understand it.

Yea, few people understand. That's what makes SDN so addicting. I just want to gab about it all day hahaha.

Between applying, studying for the MCAT, keeping up on my job, and preparing to move (yeah, I'm moving 8 days before my MCAT - probably not the best scheduling on my part), I feel like I spend more time trying to decide what needs to be done than I actually spend doing anything. And, of course, I haven't even had to deal with secondaries yet. I just imagine that even after they're all in, the stress of waiting will remain a crushing burden.

I hear that. I have to do all of those things minus MCAT (a big one, I know). I move in a few weeks. I've been doing my damndest to get those secondaries in though!

Yes, do it! We just need someone to do it once. Or we could split up the work. Then it will be easy- we will run it like the verification thread with a set of rules for each top post and a tally.

So, a girl I work with today said: "I really hope you can get off this time." She was recounting a conversation she had with a friend who was scheduled to work on the 4th. And, of course, I uttered the fateful line. And now there's one more person in this world who is disgusted by me.

Oh well. They can suck it.
