MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY. I spend so much time on SDN just because it's wonderful to be around people who really understand what we're all going through. I'm not in school and I'm a post-bacc, so I don't know a lot of other pre-med students to commiserate with. :laugh: And when I tell other family and friends about it, they just say, "Of course you'll get into med school, what are you talking about???" because they just don't realize exactly how hard it is.

wow i did 5 secondaries today......

and completed all the ones i received....

What was only supposed to be a quick stop at happy turned into a 5 hour gamefest. I love my school's pub and hope that I get in just so I can drink there.

For the record... levaquin is BOSS.

I feel so much better. Oh and my boss is the coolest ever, he's like yeah take the rest of the week. Come back in ready to work on Monday. Mwahaha. So awesome.

Sort of? I'm not entirely sure, I got an e-mail requesting that I go see them (based on my MCAT I think)...

I hope it's not a pre-med version of Punk'd and they tell me how horrible of an applicant I am.

Cuz that would suck.

Also, create a fake FB page and join our group. Wubear did that. Only rule is, you have to share your name and a picture so you're on par with the rest of us.
 
Temple secondary done! I spent time writing a genuine essay about how I really like the social mission of the program, the diversity, etc. My fee waiver was rejected 20 minutes after submitting :laugh:. Kind of ironic since I'm a disadvantaged applicant. Anyone have $75 I could "borrow"?

Next stop, submitting Brown and FSU secondaries 🙂

Definitely have them throughout the midwest. They must do a good job of portraying themselves as a local operations, a la Watson's with their crappy commercials.
 
There is a trader joe's in stl. I go there for my sweet potato chips yum
