1. The Blue Elephant in clayton
2. Tony's
3. 1111 mississippi
4. the chocolate bar
5. dewey's pizza!

Sigh...definitely one of those mornings when you wake up feeling like you didn't sleep properly and it ruins your whole day

I know I just caught up. It's scary.

So I printed off my AMCAS application... and today I've been fortunate enough to get a meeting with an adcom member at one of my top choices.

I'm sweating bullets.

Aaah congratulations!! Tell us how it went!!

Temple secondary done! I spent time writing a genuine essay about how I really like the social mission of the program, the diversity, etc. My fee waiver was rejected 20 minutes after submitting . Kind of ironic since I'm a disadvantaged applicant. Anyone have $75 I could "borrow"?

Next stop, submitting Brown and FSU secondaries 🙂

LAME! 🙁 That makes me worried that they'll reject my fee waver, and I'm also a fapper.

There is a trader joe's in stl. I go there for my sweet potato chips yum

Mmmmm sweet potato chips. 😍 There are no Trader Joe's in Colorado. We have Whole Foods, Vitamin Cottage, Sunflower Market, Sprouts, Alfalfa's...lots of random local chains. Except whole foods, which is a HUGE chain.

Ugh. That was me this morning. Let's go pass out for 12 hours.

Do they not honor FAP, or did they just reject yours specifically?

OMG PLEASEEEEE. If I didn't have to study/go buy parking so my car won't get towed/go to work in a few hours, I would totalyl just pass out and not care

Ugh...I wish you didn't have to work. Or study. 🙁

Either way it's totally lame. Everyone knows that FAPpers are a lot more satisfied and self-sufficient than other people. They're the kind of applicants med schools should be fighting over.

So true!

Answer: Panhandling.

What? Why me? You do it! 😡 Take one for the team!

You're the designated be-friender.

Smiter and I were having a discussion about which one of us was more awkward, so I'm probably not a good person to go around friending people on FB

I don't want to go to work either. We must be the only people in the world who don't like our jobs.

I love my job (well technically its unpaid research). I only have to go in today to lead the weekly meetings for 30 minutes. But it involves me changing, straightening my hair, dressing professionally, and walking 10 minutes to the hospital. Sooo not worth it.

*sigh*

JSU if you're reading this, just PM me your facebook address and I'll befriend you and add you to the group.

Well, at least it's not going to suck up your whole day. Buuut, you're also not getting paid. Wash.

Haven't been getting paid for the past three years for 10+ hours of work a week. It's okay though, its gotten me a lot of great opportunities, so its worth it.
