Define "morning person." I'm neither grouchy or zombified when I wake up - my eyes pop open and I flip out of bed like a cracked-up Jackie Chan - but sometimes it's very late when I first become conscious.

My dad looks like Robin Williams... which was always unfortunate for him when he was trying to be stern with us.

Well, I get up at about 8am. Not super early, but I'm not sleeping until noon or anything.
 
It's an art, really. Make others pity you even when you're in the wrong.

Hmm, I expected a bit more variation in the sleep/wake times.

Very Dull (IQ < 75)

Weekday: 11:41 P.M.-7:20 A.M.

Weekend: 12:35 A.M.-10:09 A.M.

Normal (90 < IQ < 110)

Weekday: 12:10 A.M.-7:32 A.M.

Weekend: 1:13 A.M.-10:14 A.M.

Very Bright (IQ > 125)

Weekday: 12:29 A.M.-7:52 A.M.

Weekend: 1:44 A.M.-11:07 A.M.


I'm probably closer to the "normal" schedule now, when I'm in school it's closer to "very bright."

Anything before 8 AM and I need at least 3 alarms to wake me up.

Not even just 3 alarms, actually... 3 alarms placed at least a few feet from my bed, so I'm forced to move away from my bed to turn them off. I am a strong believer in the existence of a "Morning person" gene, because there's no way it should be this hard for me to wake up in the morning.

I'm really glad I live in a state/city that allows fireworks. There's nothing like blowing up things to celebrate America.

I keep my alarm on a dresser across the room. This is particularly effective in winter, when I am most in danger of oversleeping, because popping out of bed to turn it off is like diving into an ice bath.

It's true. 🙁 I mean, we can have fireworks shows if they're put on by the fire department, and I've definitely set off my share of illegal fireworks here. We drive up to Wyoming to buy them. But the fire danger is just so bad right now--there have been two fires within like 5 miles of my house in the past week. They were small enough that they weren't a big deal, but I don't want some idiot setting off fireworks and starting a fire that causes me to have to evacuate my house, lol.

Same, actually when I was a little kid the whole block would just get together and blow stuff up on the 4th. and 5th and 6th and the 3rd too. It was awesome.

Well, I do live right next to Independence, MO (aka meth capital of the U.S.). They must be kind of used to explosions after all of the meth lab mishaps.
