Okay, today's the day I start to turn things in. Time to buckle down. I'll be back later!

Thank you! That means a lot. I have both books. I'm only on the 4th chapter of EK 1001 Bio, but I really want to finish it so I can ideally be scoring 12's instead of 10's right now. I only have 2 of the last EK 101 Verbals left, and I've been staying around a 10 but would love for that to increase. Realistically in the next 10 days I don't think its possible. Just gotta keep it there though.

Are you going chapter-by-chapter in bio? If so, I wouldn't. I would do the first passage from each chapter at the same time. So, I did passage one from chpt 1-9, and then passage two from 1-9, and so on. That way you cover all content each time you do passage practice. The last EK verbals are crap. I was getting 11's and 12's the whole time (EK and AAMC), and then got like 7's and 8's on the last 4 EK tests. I think they got lazy at the end...

Hmm interesting, I shall do that! Thanks 😀

 I don't think I've seen that commercial.

Also, I am currently eating Honey Bunches of Oats with whole milk. Delicious 😍

Honey Bunches of Oats! Sooo good. I ran out yesterday. 🙁

I only get the ones with Almonds and the yellow/gold box (whatever that is, probably honey-roasted or something).

Whole milk is fantastically disgusting. *shudders*

LOVE honey bunches of oats.... hate whole milk.

That's the homo milk right? The really colorful one right?

Best part of that cereal is the milk after... it's flavored all sweet and honey bunches of oat'ey.

I never drink my milk afterwards. I just add more cereal until I've used the last bit of milk. Even if a spoonful of milk is left, I'll add a sprinkle of cereal and finish it off.

My go to is either Honey Bunches of Oats or Cheerios, and add some strawberries/blueberries and skim milk. Yum!

👍 Infinitely better than the fruit that comes packaged in certain cereals (Honey bunches of oats with peaches/strawberries = 👎)

Lindor... my favorite. Mmmm melts in your mouth good.

😍

Milk chocolate, white chocolate, peanut butter, milk chocolate on the outside with white chocolate goodness on the inside, etc. I love them all! (well, except dark chocolate and mint, blech)

For verbal, I agree, but for the sciences, it's possible. Besides, a 10 is an excellent verbal score.

*reads more recent posts*

Next time, I post from newer to older posts. Everyone is discussing a particular topic (MCAT in this case) and my silly posts interject with nonsense about chicken nuggets, milk, and Lindor.

In the meantime, I'll go finish up my AMCAS. WYS has inspired me by (temporarily, I suppose) ridding himself of his laziness. 👍

I love the dark chocolate mint!

I really need to make lindor cupcakes sometime.

so why are we all here posting instead of enjoying america's birthday?

For serious. I'd much rather run indoors on days like today.

This type of weather is reserved for beach chilling and drinking cervezas.

I like the way you think. I am close to the beach, but without transportation. I also drank all of the cervezas

Ewww. How can you run outside in the daytime? I think I'd have heatstroke.

Try running in Southeast Texas. Its always 95+ (from March-November) with 100% humidity. Im in San Diego and people are complaining about the heat. Player please this is still nice weather. it would be a cold summer day in texas. Heck it would be closer to the weather we get around last novemeber/early decemeber

Funny thing is i took a running pe course. It basically said to avoid running at 90+ weather. I was like wut??

Hah. We have approximately 1 week of winter in February to break up our 51 weeks of summer.

The weather here screws with me. It will be 95 one day in feburary, then BAM 27 and snow. Then the next day back up to high 80's....

Also when its rainy season, it seems it only rains like a monsoon when im walking to class. I say that because after i get to class the sun comes out in full force

wut you have a course on running

For our physical activity course requirement we have to do 2 semesters of something. This could be dancing, golf, tennis raquet ball, basketball, aerobic running, power walking, scuba, skiing, yoga, boot camp, aerobic swimming, weight lifting etc. A lot of options. So i took running.

Wish I had a physical activity course. I think kin offered something like this, but it was half health half swimming. And I take to swimming as well as an anchor on fire.

But running... is like the least exciting option on there (refer to my sig). Mainly because you need little instruction, and because it doesn't require access to special facilities/equipment. Should've gone with SCUBA. Or basketball. Or both. I played basketball in flippers once.

Well the one semester is kinda like that. You go to health one day and do the physical activity the other.

But the other semester has to be full own physical activity.

Edit: It was the only one available for my schedule. It was nice because i'd run for 30 minutes, then be done and go back home.

Plus i already have my scuba licence 😀

Im doing ultimate frisbee with upcoming semester
