I'm gone for like... 6.5 hours and there are about 3 new people in this thread! Crazy. I need to be on SDN at all times.
 
When I get bored... I think of food.

Then my brother being the awesome brother that he is... sends me a text from the restaurant his girlfriend works at... "Hey, want anything from the restaurant?"

Speaking of movies I saw an awful movie tonight. Ugh too much unnecessary violence. It was hobo with a shotgun
 
Kinda disturbing if you ask me and I love horrors n gory but this was too much
 
I know. It was over the top, from the acting to the music. Not sure if it was intentional

How are you holding up Corneas? I've been dropping in on the 7/06 MCAT thread periodically, and it looks like a massive spazzfest :laugh:

Glad that test is done and over with. Faaaaaaak

I wish we could invent technology that could probe pre-meds brains for their intentions and natural aptitude for medicine. Cuz the MCAT just plain sucks.

I wish my test was harder. Silly mistakes hurt so much on easy tests.

Hard tests = huge curves.

I honestly don't know if I buy this in it's entirety. They can't have THAT much variation.

Yeah 40-42/52 might equal 11 on one test. But the other one is probably like 39-41 = 11 on the other.

We have no real way of knowing what those skeezebags at the AAMC do with our scores. I swear they must throw darts.

AND, there's also hard sections... it seems that if you get an easy PS... you get a hard VR, easy writing, HARD as **** BS.

Hard PS? Easy verbal... ok writing, Meh decently hard bio.

Personally I'd prefer the former... I'm much better at bio and verbal than I am at PS.

God, it was awful. The whole time, I was thinking "gong show." :laugh: Already studying for a retake. Which will be in at least a month--hoping it doesn't hurt my application this cycle.

It's like AAMC enjoys building you up and tearing you down.

Did you void, or go ahead and get your test scored?

I'm sure you did fine. The "WTF" tests always seem to give out the highest scores, at least from my very limited time perusing the MCAT forum :laugh:

I got it scored, figured what the hell. Plus I paid for the test out of my own pocket, so I didn't want to waste my money on the "what if." Hopefully it's decent, and if not, that my schools won't combine scores 😉
 
Too bad the MCAT doesn't test your ability to write songs about HP, or you'd be off to Harvard.

Clearly, your ability to write hip new music makes you someone who is capable of connecting with future generations. If that doesn't scream doctor material, the system is broken.
