There's some weird funky equation to calculate that... like half your age plus 7.

My mom is convinced that I need to marry a girl that is at least 5 years younger than me.

By this equation...I can safely date 19 year olds.

There are other circumstances...he's been married before, is in a steady career. We're on two separate pages. It's tragic. +pity+
 
I think if you're at least 21, five years is no big deal. I would definitely date a guy five years older than me if I liked him. I'd probably date a guy ten years older than me if I really liked him.

I also wouldn't have a problem dating a guy younger than me, if he was mature enough. I'm pretty immature myself.

If i was a female i'd be weary of guys just entering college and I were already almost done or done. For the most part the male gender takes a while to mature and be humbled. When males first enter college, they usually think they are the best thing since slice bread. present company excluded of course

I had TERRIBLE confidence as a child... but low and behold some people started being nice to me. Treating me well, giving me compliments, saying I was good looking etc.

Hence why I make it a point to shoot people compliments. It's necessary.

I think I'm waiting until my 30s to go for a man 10 years older...at that point he'll be a distinguished gentleman, and my other older lovers (Harrison and Hugh) will be in nursing homes or cryo-preserved.

Gah, I can't stand freshman boys. In classes or at social functions. Fortunately, going to the bars keeps a good number of them out. But guys looking to score at the bar aren't exactly the most humble either.

I'm two years out of college so if I were dating 18-year-old freshman I'd feel like a cougar. I'd date someone who was a senior in college, though. My limit is that they can't be younger than my little brother, who will be a junior this year.

All I can say is that, using a certain rule for calculating the minimum age of a person to date, this is almost the latest I can matriculate while still being able to date a classmate.
