Anybody watching the Strikeforce fight tonight? I've got Fedor def Hendo 2nd round KO. I'm also really looking forward to the Daley v Woodley matchup.

Mmmmm. I loved when I was in Paris and they had little crepe stands on the street, it was cool just to stand there and watch them make them. I miss traveling 🙁

This application process SUCKS! It really shouldn't be this expensive. It's highway robbery what some of these schools are charging for secondaries. Wayne State is only $50. That is reasonable!

Yeah, I think that nobody should not get into medical school because they couldn't afford the application process. I guess that's why the have FAP, but for people like me (my parents have a middle-class salary, so I can't get FAP, but I'm paying for the whole process myself) it doesn't help.

FAP is stupid. It's being taken advantage of by people who can claim they are not dependent on their parents. I've heard of people doing it. I think that it's ridiculous!

Top 10 is overrated - top 20 is where its at.

However, when you apply to residency no one will notice the difference between top 10 and 20. Just sayin'


(they might not care about top anything actually)

Yeah, but what about the prestige of one's thread? I think that the 2016 thread has more competitive spamming than the prior years, so my class ranking should reflect that. 😀

Just keep your head down and keep trucking. I mean, I get what your saying, the prestige of the thread WILL determine whether or not you end up in Derm or Internal Med, but still....


I can't believe how the spamming goes up year to year. In the good old days, you need 500 posts to reach top 10...in 10 years, it probably will be 1,000,000 for top 10😱

Yeah, except for the DO 'class of' threads... where they don't look so closely at your post count, but at the overall quality of your posts. 🙄

I'm liking this. We can have it linked to SDN, sell some ad space, and profit. Then we can use it as a most memorable EC when applying to residencies.
