Yeah, I saw that one coming a mile away. I always called Iowa 'the little Alabama' because they play exactly the same way. After seeing the seemingly indestructible Spartans dismantled by the Hawkeyes I knew the bowl game was not worth watching.

Story time:

I went to the UTMB social which was cool. Talked with the 2nd year medical student the whole time. She was really helpful.

Now, a buddy and I left to go get dinner on the same street. We finish up dinner and overhear this little 16 year old kid talking about biomedical engineering. So we went over and gave him some words of encouragement. The way he replies and spoke just astounded me. He was so focused and knew so much about the field and what he wanted to do. Made me feel stupid. There is some hope for the youth with kids like him. Also the people the kid was originally talking to, bought us beers for staying to talk with the kid so win win:laugh:

That's so awesome 👍. It's always nice to hear about kids who are so focused and passionate about their plans for the future.

Thanks for the bump. Also, in regards to the quote in your sig, I always felt that what we do is contingent entirely upon who we are on the inside. Ipso facto, Katie Holmes and Batman fail.

I was SO MAD when Katie Holmes was replaced by that really annoying woman in The Dark Knight...it was the most noticeable blemish in the movie by far 🙁

Tech kinda worries me since they always do better on a swing year but who knows. Mizzou is an eh threat. Texas is just lulz

I cannot wait. It is going to be so intense. I love Big 12 football. We'll just see who rises to the top, because there are several with the potential.
