I just got finished interviewing at a Texas school it was legit. What school is your top choice?

Northwestern is my realistic top choice.

My reach is HMS. But I'd be happy as a clam at any of my Michigan schools.

And my top choices are USC, NYU, Colorado, and Georgetown. But I'd be stoked to get into any school I applied to.

CodeBlu that is a great school. I did not apply, Ill be interviewing at Pritzker very soon. So if I like the windy city enough Ill put it on my list.


I don't have a top choice at the moment but I love Stanford

I actually really like this school... I like all the schools on my list actually. I applied deliberately. Don't want to end up somewhere I don't want to be.

Chicago is amazing. All the schools I applied to are slow though... seriously.
 
I am kind of hyped about Yale Med. I have a friend that goes there and loves it.

Why didnt you apply to Pritzker. They have an amazingly fast turnaround. I am talking four days.

Same here. I spent a long time picking out the schools I wanted to apply to. I'd be happy at every single one of them, because I didn't apply to any school that I wouldn't have been happy at. And I love GT, for many reasons. 😀 I really hope they interview me. And I hope they interview you so we can pick the same date.

They also take 1 class at a time I think? That's pretty cool.

I don't need an Ivy League education necessarily. The school doesn't make me a doctor... I make myself one. Anatomy is the same at Pritzker vs. any other medical school. There's no extra body parts that Yale students or HMS students learn.

Steps to success: pass all med school classes, learn basic sciences well, rock step 1, find trophy wife with MBA, kill clerkship, get married, do residency, buy oversized home and luxury car... divorced by 35, and then have sex with 20 somethings until you need viagra. Then start hitting on sex deprived girls near your age. (This breakdown is not my own, it is my bro's friend who said this to me... but it's pretty darn accurate)

How do you know you will be happy at a school if you never really set foot on the campus? I just casted my net out and I am seeing what I am going to catch. My first choice is the school I already interviewed at. I have nothing to compare it to.

I've visited 95% of the schools I applied to.

I'm not going to waste my time and apply somewhere that I haven't seen or visited.

My first choice for undergrad was Univ. of Michigan... till I went to visit Northwestern.

UCLA 😍 Its been my dream for undergrad and for med school. I didn't get in for undergrad, so here's hoping that I get in for med. I'm applying to the CDU/UCLA program as well because I love it so much.

USC would be nice as well.

Agreed. 2014 was more traditional while 2015 is more non-trads. We are a very nice mix.
