Same here. Im considering a nook. Problem is only one of my textbooks is on ebook format

Seriously? Well if you NEED an ebook I can tell you that an iPad would work plus you have all the other nifty features like productivity software and internet access. Backlit screens are notorious for eye strain though, which e-ink screens seem to be much friendlier with. Plus ebooks like the kindle and nook are significantly cheaper. Honestly I would go with the kindle, but thats largely personal preference.
