Class of 2016!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Other countries have taken the "for profit" business side out of the equation and spend must less %-wise of their GDP on healthcare. We spend about 7000 per capita, nearly twice some other countries who serve their entire population, much of this is due to the "for profit" aspect of insurance and that 20 cents of every dollar spent goes do administrative costs.

Read books too btw!!!!

Also, pharmaceuticals and end-of-life care.

I found this AMAZING website for biology animations... it's called YOUTUBE...

I'm gonna miss teaching verbal reasoning... biological sciences here I come...

Yep, already there. 👎

Boo!!!

It'll be a few hours before everyone else trickles in...

I'm sort of perplexed, I've been complete at Drexel, since like forever. Not that I'm complaining, but I'd like some status update of some sort.

Normally I'd be like OK whatever it'll come, but it seems 2 rounds of IIs have gone out... In all reality, I just want a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and to visit Philly.

I applied to them last year, I was put on pre-interview hold indefinitely. I still don't know if I've technically been rejected. 😉 The section of Philly with Drexel, Penn, etc isn't bad. I don't remember the name of the restaurant, but right across the street there's a place with some good greasy food (beer-battered everything, cheesesteaks, etc).

Mmmmm beer battered. Ideally, if I get an early acceptance, I will start declining interview offers to give people a chance to interview.

No need to be greedy.

While I agree for the most part, I wouldn't be too quick to cut schools from your list. Unless you have a school that is far-and-away your favorite you might be surprised by a last minute scholarship offer from a lesser school.

Saggy, bro... if I've learned anything. There is no such thing as a lesser school in this process.

U.S. Allopathic Institutions = MD 🙂

Maybe try sending update letter or call?

I still need to get an avatar. Someone should choose one for me.

Problem is that if I do that, knowing these people, I'll end up with something borderline risque, crazy (well, more weird), or Futurama-related.

2. While driving around yesterday, I learned a lot about the historical, political, and cultural aspects of the banana listening to NPR.

I'm sorry, I lol'ed

I wasn't professing the value of peanut butter. 😛

Your numbers for the nutella are slightly off: http://www.nutellausa.com/nutrition-facts.htm

2 tbsp
200 Calories (About the same as Peanut Butter)
11 g Fat including 3.5 g Sat. Fat (Less than peanut butter)
21 g of sugar =( 10x the amount of sugar my peanut butter has. At least my peanut butter has 3x the protein.

Anyways...here is the nutritional label for a snickers bar.

Thats for a 2oz bar. Which I am pretty sure is more than 2 tbsp of nutella.(2 tbsp = 1 liquid ounce?)......😀

I have a generic nutella brand. 🙂

Oh nice! I didn't even know they sold generic nutella.....

Truthfully I secretly love nutella....I just have to guilt myself every time I eat it or I am going to be a balloon in no time.

I make up for it by putting it on a whole wheat bagel. At least that is how I make myself feel better. :meanie:
