Don't be, its there for you to be able to provide others with some sort of info on the madness that we call the medical school application process. It also tells us that you're a superstar congrats on all your success so far.

Thank you for your support! I agree it is crazy and pretty unpredictable. I went into this process expecting nothing but hoping for the best (as evidenced by my huge and varied school list). I still can't believe how this is going, this semester seems very surreal.

UCSF made me sad though....I would love to stay in CA and near my family. I even visited it. Oh well, moving forward.

sorry to hear about UCSF. I think UCD would be that for me (well, UCLA is my #1 choice but Davis is closest to home). My mom would probably sacrifice a goat if it meant a UCD acceptance 😱:scared::laugh:

keeping me close for undergrad backfired big time. (stupid UOP) but for Med School, I wouldn't mind Davis (I'd love it, Cali school all the way)
 
first mock interview:

monotone, "ummer", not prepared enough, boring, bad hair, need to smile more, talk about interesting things

first 2 interviews in a week!

The truth is probably somewhere in the middle. You have an idea of what to work on now though.



...still weirded out about the cockatiel though

Well, it seems like most interviewers do a good job of putting you at ease. No worries!
 
I like animals.

Kaution, keep your feet flat, legs square, hands still or together, don't fidget, smile, and lean slightly forward. That's what I remind myself before my interviews.

You'll do great!

my posture was fine, just needed to fold my leg.

I think some of my answers were BS and I was looking everywhere for an answer literally.

Some of my answers were very good (clinical experience)

And I really need to hype up my research/hobbies.

BTW, how do you guys like my new avatar? His name's Blackie (my second Blackie, first being a miniature poodle).
