I think I'm going to mail letters. Email would be faster but I guess I'll follow my pre-med advisor's advice for once.
 
I must buy a ton of alcohol to prepare for Tuesday. It's decided....I'm checking in the school bathroom's handicap stall 🙁😳:scared:

YOU HAVE A TWIN BROTHER? cool! I guess; i don't know, I live by Loma Linda, so I know quite a few adventists. All my religious arguments with them go nowhere 😡

Well, I agree that not everyone is game for a substantial argument. He and I are both nerds (ridiculously so), so we had statistical arguments gauging relative risks for type I vs II errors, inherent limits of perception (human or augmented), etc. It was borderline embarrassing, but after that series of discussions I am relatively certain of my position (which I will not disclose).

Ah, this is a different argument. idk, the last one I had, the other person was certain that when we pray, our Gods are completely different and that our prayers go to separate places. I don't want to get into it, but needless to say, we both left quite upset.

Yes, berries, continue to drone on about painting your toe nails... SO much more interesting/wholesome than our little debate about Western civ.

And the discussion wouldn't be FRUITLESS if BERRIES were involved 🙂.

Seriously, though, fruitless in what sense? Of course philosophical/political/religious debate rarely changes minds, but that's not to say there's no value in thinking about issues and articulating your beliefs.

I can definitely see how that proposition might be... err, frustrating. I'd rather talk to a pile of dirt at that point.
