I think Jones > Silva > GSP.

Silva can fight at 3 weight classes.

GSP can bump up.

Don't know about Jones, might be too slim for him.

Silva's natural weight is 200lb+

I know they all 'can' bump up, but that doesn't put them at their competitive weights. Sure, Silva walks around at 220: 190 of muscle and 30 pounds of flub. The flub wouldn't do him any favors vs Jones. The only time Silva went up to 205 was to fight guys considerably worse than him and he was confident that he'd be handed a free win. Even if the fight was catchweight, Jones is just naturally bigger than Silva. The same can be said for the GSP matchup.
 
so it's "AMSA", but they've made it into a "prehealth" club to be more inclusive. which basically means it is useless for everyone. No sorry, i dont want to sit through weeks and weeks of pre-optometry, vet, PT, nursing, nursing practice, etc. I came to join AMSA because i'm applying to medical school.

The president (second year in position now) is also very power hungry and won't listen to any suggestions or ideas. I used to like her (we were lab partners at one point) but now she is kind of fake and makes everything about herself.

Also, none of the executive board at our school is even applying this cycle (even though most are seniors). I know more about this process than all of them put together. Which I'm not here to brag about, but I know all this info and will never use it again, let me help the other pre-meds out! But no, she can't have somebody else be standing up at the front for a bit.
 
TLDR

Basically I'm trying to help out and give valuable information (how to apply, what you need to apply....nobody, even the club officers knows this stuff) and miss president would rather have a meeting where we play 2 truths and a lie* instead of letting somebody else have an input

I just want to help the younger kids 🙁 who don't even know what subjects are on the mcat but say they're pre-med (and actually mean it, they do study, they just have no idea what applying actually entails)

Next AMSA meeting just arrive 20 minutes early and slap a bunch of SDN posters up on the walls and doors. Profit.

lol. I don't have any SDN posters, just the ones in my head.

One of the "high points" for her last year was when she got someone from Ross to come speak to us, tell us their admissions requirements, and basically advertise.

Also, when I suggested things, she shot them down because "they were only applicable to pre-meds and wasn't inclusive enough". And then today we listen to a PT presentation all about the pre-reqs for a certain PT school.

AMSA biased against pre-meds. What a joke.
 
She introduced herself at the first meeting by saying...

"Hi, I'm ______ ______, president of the American Medical Student Association."

I'm pretty much done with this, just feel bad for all the people in it who don't know any better.

WHAT...... Oh no you didn't.

I actually got annoyed with her after hearing Rolling in the Deep so many times, but once I started listening to her other stuff I found I really enjoyed it.

But October can offer an opulent show
For that month exhibits fall foliage sublime.

Lately, I feel like I've been gauging time through holidays. September is usually the month that skips past by pretty quickly though. I always notice the orange and brown and then the red and green.
