Agh... I hate eating things in the airport. The food's usually terrible/expensive. But figures, since the food there is the only thing available to people stranded/waiting in the airport.

Though pretzels are okay, haha.
 
I got a spot at the desk! They are highly competitive. Only 3 seats.

Also, I think the girl next to me is a med student venting on the phone about her rotations???? Eavsdropping atm.
 
I know of at least one other school playing the midnight game. But if I said who, it would be suspicious cuz no one but the adcom knows. It would be easy for them to connect me to my posts lol.

Hahaha I'm going to hold back and keep it a secret! It's gonna be hard, but I'm not gonna post where Im accepted. I speak a little too freely on these boards lol.
 
So I'm working on secondaries right now, and almost all of them are asking for a picture. I'm halfway tempted to just wear a monocle in my pictures. 🤣

The adcoms at Princeton med are some of the most laid back people I've ever met and they have awesome senses of humor. Do it!
 
I'm excited for you guys! The earliest I'll realistically hear any good news is Wednesday,so I'll have to experience the 10/15 excitement vicariously through sdn =/

Pretty much the same here, except I'm stuck until the following Monday. I'm sure we can live vicariously through you awesome guys until our time comes. :luck:
 
We're all getting in sometime in the next few days. Its Friday Friday, gettin down on Friday!!!

I have some beers in the fridge on call for if/when I hear the news tonight!

Srsquestion: How are you guys gonna break the news on FB? Anything lulz worthy or thought out? Or just "omg I got in to med school!!!"

I'm thinking about what kind of status update I want to make... hmmmm
 
My sister, Christi, had a baby when I was 17, and I had just heard about crib death. The horrible thing was that it wasn’t understood. For some unknown reason the baby would stop breathing. So I would sneak into where the baby was sleeping and put my hand in her crib, hold her little finger, and I’d sleep on the floor like that. It was stupid, I’m sure, but I thought the warmth of my hand might help, that maybe if she felt my pulse it would remind her to breathe.
