waiting for a phone call. because any action on your phone (new email, new text, call from someone that's NOT the adcom) will trigger a false alarm. i'm pretty sure you'll know when the mailman gets to your box.

I don't know... stalking the mailbox was a more frustrating thing for me. I got called in the middle of class and they left a voice mail.

also, i'm convinced usps is losing my mail.
 
All of these acceptances are motivating me to finish my secondaries.

aw keep your chin up. i know it seems like everyone and their mother has invites but it really is early-ish still. all you need is one, and plenty of people get their invites later in the season and end up at a great school. I know I was told to expect to not hear from any school until 2012 (i.e jan-mar) about an II and that I'd "probably get accepted off a waitlist".

You never know.

Hey I just read your MDappl. profile. Did you only end up turning 8 secondaries or did you actually finished the secondaries for all the schools you posted in your profile?

LOL, yeah, it was a tough few weeks between my interview and notification. Right now, I am very, very grateful I decided to apply EDP. 😀

Nah, its not updated. Give me a few minutes. I turned in most of them, been complete at places over a month.

I just have a lot of regret applying this year. Had to retake my MCAT 7/16 which put me about 2 months behind people. MCAT still didnt turn out as I wanted it too. Would have probably retaken and raised my gpa a bit and applied early next year.

I took my MCAT then, too.

It's really hard to wait to apply. We all want to get in right now. However, again, it's not over. Just don't break your computer refreshing your inbox...

i actually have a few still...but am thinking they're probably not going to happen: hopkins, sinai, cwru and columbia. 🙄
