I also have an interview there in a little over a week, and it's going to be my first MMI. From what I've heard about MMI interviews they are really not as bad as they sound. Just relax and be yourself, I am sure you will do great!:luck::xf:

Thanks for the words of encouragement. 🙂 I will be up there for a few days, so I decided to book a hotel room to avoid having to move my stuff around.

From my experience, MMI went by way too fast to get nervous. It'll be over before you know it. Safe travels and best of luck, ladies!!! 🙂

In case anyone was wondering.....staying on the couch all day and watching movies is WAY more fun than studying med school material.
 
You know you have a food problem when you keep eating pecan pie despite the fact that you are allergic to pecans.

I have rashes all over my face, but it's so worth it! 😳😳

This is one of the many times I am grateful that I am a girl! Going shopping first thing in the morning for some face make up, foundation, powder, and the such :laugh:
 
Got a 42 inch sharp 1080p LCD tv for 200$ at best buy today. What a crazy day.
 
I applaud you. There is no way I could deal with 'unforeseen contingencies' of possible trampling. When shopping the day after Thanksgiving, the opposition can get "cray cray" for dealy-o's.

That is why I was so happy a lot of people started their Black Friday early, and I was able to get a 55" Samsung LED for $1099 5 days ago and was happily at home watching it all day yesterday🙂

The name plus the avatar and the join date have piqued my curiosity. Are you applying this cycle and hope to be/are going to be Class of 2016? Or did idf's awesome gifs suck you into this thread?

this is a true testament to your eating prowess. i occasionally break out into hives when i eat shellfish...but i do it anyways too :highfive:

GO TO SEPHORA OMG OMG OMG. i <3 sephora. and they have a ton of awesome deals this weekend. i would partake but alas, i have already spent way too much $$ there this quarter. 😳

Too late, I just came back from Ulta - they have pretty good selection, however it's kind of expensive 🙁

I bought three different powders, foundation, and even a $30 bronze booster - I figured it will help cover up the redness? Yeah, I know that's probably too much stuff 😳

BTW, I have resisted the temptation to have pecan pie today, instead I am cooking tomato soup 😀
 
it was nice when you consider the fact that my other sibling decided to wake him up by blaring German death metal in his face. :laugh:

This is exactly what I just had and I have to tell you - this soup turned out delicious. So good, that even In-N-Out does not sound tempting after this meal 🙂

They sure do! They also have an online store, so you could probably buy it from there. I heard Laura Mercier's foundation is pretty good. Let me know how you like it if you decide to buy it 🙂

Yes, they do make up. And you are right I am a girl, but if I was a guy I would still wear it for interviews to cover up allergy based face break ups 😀😳
