Yup. I spent a large chunk of the day finishing the second season of Weeds on Netflix. Then I watched the first episode of the 3rd season. It's nice to be a graduate. 🙂

I probably wouldn't have done this if I weren't battling a cold, though.

so you think! i've gotten 3 more interview invites since friday, and i've been compete since late july/ early august. you could still be surprised!

i've got 6 left myself my friend, though i cancelled one of them. and i've been to 10... so tired of travelling...
never thought i would be in a situation where i have TOO MANY interviews :d

I completed 16 by October 31st (had booked tickets and hotels and such) for them so no point in turning them down; the ones after I am now selective, going to only schools I would actually consider attending.

I agree, I was expecting 4-5 interviews, 1 acceptance. Good problem though 👍

Omg, that's a lot of interviews. I don't know how you guys did it. I attended 7 and cancelled 9, can't imagine going to more than that.
 
Me too, yet I still feel the urge to travel some more. I just want it to be for vacation purposes only this time. The bf is going to take me on a big hiking trip as a graduation present. We're still deciding where we want to go. Nevada/Utah, Montana/Wyoming, AZ/NM...

I love hiking trips! You will have so much fun 🙂

My bf and I are also going to do some traveling in the summer. Unfortunately before that, I will most likely have to do some more application related travel for second looks...

Since you've interviewed extensively, how does UNC compare to other schools?
(I felt like they didnt give us a good tour.)

They most definitely did not give us a good tour. I know they're an awesome school, but I don't think they presented themselves as well as they could have. It still favorably compares to other schools though. Nice people, great location, high-quality education. I wish they had showed us around a bit more.

As far as second looks go, I have been told that UCF takes folks to one of the Orlando theme parks. I know some others schools encourage accepted students to go out on the town with current students, etc.
 
You can also scope out the housing situation at second look. I can't believe I may be moving across the country. I am also currently writing this from school since AT&T is functionally ******ed.

lulz. I mean, i think it's basically just that - a pseudo-pre-orientation. Lots of activities with current students to give you a more in-depth idea of what the school is like and sell you on choosing them.

It's interesting to notice which schools DON'T offer second look.
