What a coincidence, I was just asking someone yesterday if they had heard of Orange Leaf before. I got a buy-one-get-one-free coupon in the mail but it's quite a distance from my house, so I wasn't sure if it was worth the drive. I've mostly eaten at Pinkberry because it was so close to my undergrad campus, but alas, they don't let you measure out your own froyo and toppings 🙁

The tattoo place I'm going to later next week has an Orange Leaf right next to it.. and they're super close to my apartment. I'll let you know how it is!

Oooh, I would totally use my coupon to buy you a froyo! Too bad the coupon is valid only at a specific Orange Leaf in my town instead of any Orange Leaf 🙁

I think the actual froyo is better at orange leaf, too. They don't use as many tart bases and have a bigger selection of toppings and flavors.

I don't know, I would definitely say the I-10 freeway and the I-5 from the 10 to the 91 freeway is definitely hell. My Cali peeps will understand this.
 
In other news I'm really loving the UCLA RAP postbac I'm in. There's a good group of students and we got to do a ropes course at ucla today. Twas awesome.

Of course getting in off the Drew waitlist would be even awesomer but its not gonna be so bad if I have to do this postbac.

And good luck with the wisdom teeth extraction, phnerd! It's really not too terrible, so try not to worry too much about it. I had minimal facial swelling, and only a day or two after. Any pain was controlled pretty well with the meds they gave me (except for the place where they had removed an upward-growing wisdom tooth from my sinus cavity - that hurt after - but I'm hoping/assuming you don't have that).

Thanks guys! I'm tweakin' right now, so I really hope it goes well. I had my last solid meal for a week. I'm not going to lie, I'm looking forward to the food restrictions. It'll help my diet along 🙂. And nope, both of my impacted ones are on the bottom. My top ones haven't come in yet. Thank god!
 
My wisdom tooth extraction went off without a hitch. Although, since I didn't go under full anaesthesia, I could hear everything. The worst sound imaginable. :scared:

Also, there was a lot of bleeding, ridiculously so.

Ok so maybe it didn't go off without a hitch 🙄

I was under full sedation for mine. They were impacted and were hard to get out, or so I was told.
 
I was also fully knocked out for the sinus cavity fishing expedition. My younger sister luckily only had two wisdom teeth, total. I also know a guy who somehow had 5 of them.

Wow, that scenery is amazing. This also reminded me that I just found my copy of Cool Boarders 2 while packing last night. It made me feel really old. I was never that good at Cool Boarders, but I was amazing at Matt Hoffman BMX. I need to acquire a Play Station again.
