i will say clinical exposure is the one thing i didn't get a ton of in smp.

i'm pretty good with taking a H&P though. 🙂 does that count?

yeah i still remember the kid who stood up on the very first day of orientation when we were introducing ourselves, who was like, "i'm so and so, and if you guys are on SDN, my handle is ___________"

at that point, i still had no idea what sdn was, but everyone around me was either shocked or snickering.

I have wondered, how far back can people literally search a users post history? Everytime I try to search my own I can only go back 300 posts.

I am sure around the 2K point and even still now I have given away enough info for anyone at my school to identify me. I have never been called on it, which amazes me.

lol, that's pretty funny. horrible, but funny.

also unrelated: at one of the clinics I worked at, we had morbidly obese patients come in all the time. i would do exams that required them to sit on these little tiny rolling stools while I did my thing. there may or may not have been a few incidents where people fell off because they were simply too large...

my heart hurts for these people. You know deep down they probably hate themselves for getting to that point but likely feel too overweight to have any hope of getting into better shape. 🙁

that's impressive. I aspire to such things. Also, I've changed my handle twice since I started posting, which I think helps.

most definitely. i'm watching the biggest loser on netflix right now...originally it was to be ironic because my friend said he thought it was really funny for me to watch it while lounging on the couch eating cheetos. and then i got hooked. it's such an emotional and personal journey! and i'm like, holy crap, they are baring their souls to the entire world and pushing their bodies to such limits. i know pushups and such are the devil when i'm like 1/3 of those guys' weights. i can't even imagine lugging 2 or 3 mes up a hill.

and also, i'm nursing a semi-severe running injury right now, which is depressing because I can't run or bike. But i feel like the biggest wuss when i see those guys with both their knees in braces pounding out shoulder presses like there's no tomorrow. it's awesomely inspirational.

it's okay. well, not totally. i'm a little worried now because i can't even elliptical or walk without feeling strain / sore, and there's a pop in a ligament or tendon whenever i extend my leg fully. i'm going to get it checked out this week...i have no idea what they'll tell me.

Although ironically, my tequila sunrise was very gold and very liquidy.
