this is exactly why i didnt mention dates, eventually stopped posting in class threads, deleted my mdapps and changed my username.

I have for sure said things PD's or faculty would look down upon. I personally stand behind what I say and wouldn't be embarrassed or anything. :shrug:

Yea well my MDapplicants page is like a small novel by now.

Next they're going to be analyzing themes and motifs. Maybe some character development.

My boyfriend and I are both failing pretty hard at packing today. We were just complaining about how we hate it. I can't wait for moving day (Tuesday), because the packing will be done. I'm going to miss my cat and dog. I wish I could pack them. 🙁

They are staying behind with my mom and sister, with whom they currently live. My boyfriend is allergic to cats, so it wouldn't be a possibility to bring her, and the dog is very attached to my mom. I visit the animals all the time though (and grew up with them for many years), so I'll miss them tons. We might adopt a dog at some point.

I went that route, but not to that extreme :laugh:. I just never created an mdapps to begin with, and I never mentioned interview dates in class threads.

I think cats purposefully find the most inconvenient spot to lie down.. out of spite. Tricky bastards.

For example, whenever I'd study/read, my cat would lie down on my books.

Are you in a relationship now? Don't have to answer that, but if you are, it seems like to me staying a relationship kind of depends on your needs for attention from each other.

We're both super busy, I might go three, four days without seeing her except at night and sometimes at all (if she's away on work). We're not overly jealous people and like our independence and being separate individuals. We dated before school started, but I had a really tough job before school that ate all my time, so I knew she would be ok with medical school hours.

Many couples I saw failed because the one not in medical school required more attention from the one in school. Add in the high stress levels and it's like a bomb. Also, it seems almost no long distance relationships lasted more than a couple months....

Looks like I got a solid shot off in my duel so far.

Unfortunately, the registrar has got some of those funny alien weapons that shoot green beams.
