I think it is Solidifying Objective Structured Clinical Examination? Basically, it is when they give us a scenario, give us a minute to look over it, and then we go in and do a history and physical concerning the problem on an actor. We are then graded on how we did while an attending watches through a one-way window.

edit: one-way window, all mirrors are one way. 😉

It's normally not like this. I've lived here for 3 years before med school and it would be much colder by November. I really love warm weather, but it's kind of weirding me out that we're still in the 70s in December!

I have returned from the land of broken laptops (due to water damage) with a brand new Acer laptop to honor you all with my presence.
 
this laptop is super fanfreakingtasatic I love it so much
 
windows 8 is taking some getting used to from Windows XP (just to let you know how ancient my old laptop was)

While it is pretty, its so bloated and non intuitive. I'd rather have gotten Windows 7. It'll take some getting used to.

have the day off (unintentionally) so I'm watching the Niners game on my laptop and my computer not only isn't making my table melt but I can watch the feed without my CPU slowing everything down
