I have my spring break at the end of next block (end of April). There will be much rejoicing at that time.
😕 isn't that almost summer break?

Pretty sure he's been waiting until you got back to use that, CB.

Maaaaan, I loved immuno. It was micro that I couldn't stand.
I'm a week behind in micro and drowning 🙁
preach. 👍
Who's CB? Also, no one saw that coming. 😉
Nope. It's the middle of spring.
You said micro was your strongest subject!!!![]()
CodeBlu
End of April is close to summer break, unless you're used to the quarter system. I think we end first year in the 2nd week of May
I've never taken micro, so I'm sure I've never said that. Neuro is my strongest subject, and we start that after spring break (2nd week of March)
2nd week of May isn't summer; it's a merged spring/summer break
Neuro means you should be good in anatomy. Someone's being inconsistent.![]()
I didn't mean that May was summer. It is still the spring season. It is summer break. Spring break at most schools is in early March or incorporates Easter weekend.
And no, having neuroscience background has nothing to do with memorizing hundreds of terms and locations for muscles, blood vessels, nerves, bones, etc.
Neuroanatomy...
Yeah, that's separate from anatomy and mostly focuses on the CNS. We're covering that in the 1.5 month long neuroscience course. We actually removed the brains from our cadavers and preserved them separately so we can use them next month.
Also, who's saying I didn't do well in anatomy? Those have been my top exam scores so far
Silly Agent B.
You said you were struggling in anatomy, biochemistry, immuno, microbiology, physiology and pharmacology.![]()

Well we haven't had physio or pharm yet, but med school is a constant struggle. Take how you study for finals and study like that pretty much every day. Anatomy was hard just because it was our first class and no one knew how to manage studying yet, but it ended up being the easiest class so far (in my opinion) because you just get used to it/become more apathetic about doing well.
You'll find out soon enough, young grasshopper 😉
It feels like once I start med school, all the studying tactics I used in college are thrown in the dumpster, and I have to start fresh.![]()
Yes. But that will go for everyone else too. Everyone's in the same boat.
On an unrelated note, y'all should go check out the new Myspace. I've only played around with it for like 10 minutes but it's pretty neat. If you are a regular user of Pandora/Spotify/Songza, you'll like it!
someone deleted a post and now tops are all messed up. boo.
i'm a microbio zombie.
Survived exams. Slept 10 hours last night.
Yay Cinclus! =😍
😍
I hope minerva also survived.![]()
She did. I had her over for post-exam relaxation and chit chat yesterday afternoon. We find out at the end of next week if we passed everything. Head and neck was, by far, the worst thing for me.![]()
