Dang...I can't imagine what I would do with all that space. How much does a house like that cost in tx?
In my perspective I think the whole purpose of NYC is to move into a really small apartment all cramped up or defeats the whole purpose of living there. Idk why i feel that way but...![]()
9000 dollar bill was a joke
I'm not even sure bill gates pay that much for his house lol
I wonder if Miami is expensive, too 😕

yea suburbs of Dallas. Not too far tho
👍
An ex gf of mine used to go to NYU. She had rented an apartment for $2000 per month and her living room was no bigger than my kitchen. I am not even exaggerating
I hate the city (sorry tman). It overwhelms me. I'd rather live in a small city/the suburbs

Haha gotcha. I was seriously worried about what you were up to for a second 😀
According to Torsh, it's not. in fact it might be cheaper than Texas 😱

Well yea parts of Miami are expensive like any other metropolitan city, but Florida itself is cheap or even cheaper Texas in general.
You can choose to live in the suburbs and work in Miami and be minutes from the beach 🙂
Is it around Highland Park? Because I've got family there that I visit every summer.
I'm not a big fan of the city, either, but it's not like I have a choice 🙁 $2k sounds about right in the city. I mean I pay like $800 a month for dorming and that's for a room smaller than a jail cell...which reminds me...some of the dorms at my school were designed by a person who designed jails...![]()
Nah Highland park is a lot closer to Dallas and has very expensive homes. Bush lives there
I'm around Plano

Do you have a single? $800/month for a single is not too bad....
I am paying $500 per month for my apartment (utilities included) 😀
I don't think that Florida has malpractice caps though

This semester I'll have single, but it's in a suite, so if my suite mates are loud...It's more expensive for a single, though...
Haha yeah. My relatives live 2 blocks away from his house and always see Secret Service cars going up and down the 'hood.
I thought Plano was really far from Dallas... I guess I need to visit there more often to get my geography right.
In NY? that's cheap 😱

Uh oh. I hope you get good suitmates. No 24/7 partyers 👎
Yeah in NY. I am not in the city though
Upstate is much cheaper

Arlington on the other hand, not so much 😛
Hope soWe'll find out next sunday when I move in

really ?
How cheap are we talking ?
How cheap are we talking ?
for you tman
Never had problems with a loud roommate. Except my roommate in senior year of hs (I went to boarding school) would stay up till 4 am playing Age of empires. 🙄
In where I live the average seems to be around 500-600 per month. So probably at least a thousand bucks cheaper monthly 😱
lol. I went to Arlington to see Cowboys Stadium early in the morning. Saw a bunch of streetwalkers on the South Arlington side. Drove out of there as fast as I could.
No clue, but probably 30-40% cheaper
I think the cap in Fl is around $500,000 as to states such as Texas, Colorado, and California, for example, have some of the lowest caps on pain and suffering damages, at $250,000.
Plano is awesome place to live 👍

yeah the criminal rate here in Arlington is crazy high. At my apartment, i cant stay out at 9pm at night. if i do, i get a ticket from our local police. Everyone should be inside by 9pm 😱
Big difference from the city. In my borough I could rent a 1 bedroom apt for the same price as I pay for housing at school and my school is not in the city 👎thumbdown
I'd say that it's more than that tman. The girl I was talking about was living near Chinatown and she was still paying 2K monthly. Now I don't know much about the city but I am willing to be it's not one of the best of neighborhoods

That sucks. College housing is always expensive though
