Was that movie good? I've heard a few people talking about it, but haven't heard a verdict haha.

Welp, now you guys know why I was mistaken for a 13 year old. 😛

Dude, stay safe yo! I live upstate, so I'll be hurricaning it up too, so I hope we both stay alive to see the other, MCAT-ful side. I'm hoping to take the MCAT for real, so I don't know how this whole thing will affect that. My poor friend's flight was cancelled, so now she's stuck in India not knowing when she'll be able to get back into the US and take the MCAT. This stinks!

I'm glad your room is nice, tman! I haven't seen my room yet, but from what I've heard, I don't have much to be excited about, haha. But I'm optimistic!

I love the FB group, but I'm really sick stomach-wise today, so I haven't really been online. I've been... in other places. The good news is that I've got my lymphatic system DOWN. Woo.

May or may not be taking AAMC 10 tomorrow, not sure yet. :scared:

Oy, that's awful for your friend. This weather bites. Hope things work out OK. 🙁 And hope you feel better. Know what digestive problems are like, not alotta fun.

I've never seen my room either. Supposedly it's in the building's basement, so maybe it'll be quiet. I've never even met my apartmates before either. It'll be an adventure. 😎

I know! I feel bad, she was supposed to have a nice, leisurely stay at my house and recover from jet lag before taking her MCAT together with me, but now who knows what'll happen? I don't know, I feel like I might be developing IBS... this isn't good. It might just be a virus, but I can't be sure.

Oh no... I've lived in a basement before, and it was horrible. Granted, I lived with a football player roommate in a room barely bigger than a closet with a floor made of gray linoleum, so that might have informed the experience, haha. I'm sure it'll be good, though! I've seen good basements and bad ones, as long as you don't have a roommate I think you should be totes fine. Who knows, maybe your apartmates will be your new biffles 4 lyfe 😀

Hahahaha, I think a miniature Hurricane Irene has already happened in my house, if you know what I mean 😛 I'm not sure I'll be able to since I don't feel so hot, and since I wasn't able to review AAMC 9 properly or review some major weak areas like I had planned to. I might take it on Monday, we'll see. Let's definitely compare notes! I'm sure it'll go horribly for me, lol, given the state of things.

Oh yeah Kpaw, hope your friend makes it back safely. Two of my aunts are supposed to be flying over on Monday. Hope their flight doesn't get delayed/cancelled.
 
My parents are too protective. It's time for me to leave the nest...or something 🙄
 
I hope the hurricane isn't going to be as bad as the media's making it out. They're basically ringing a bell and screaming, "Bring out your dead!!" and trying to tell us we're going to have to swim through a pile of corpses by early next week.

@Ozzi, no way man. 😀 If we both can pass for so young though, we might as well enjoy life like we are. Meet you at the playground?

I'm worried about the idea of leaving the nest sometimes. I'm so attached to my parents and my brothers, and I feel like I'd never really want to leave home. But I still have to do my own thing in life, even if that means leaving home. I hate growing up sometimes. 🙁

Haha. It's never as bad as the media depicts it to be. Swine flu is an example of that. It makes for great business, though. People start buying things to "save" themselves like crazy 😀

We don't have any levees to break...I think. We'll just get swallowed by the atlantic ocean. At least it's not a tornado...that would make for a great PS :meanie:

I once had class canceled because a tornado warning. Of course I didn't get the message because I was running in the rain trying to get to class before I was submerged by water.

Cali added me just now. I just made it so theres nothing on it yet. I'm going to make an MD apps page and then head to bed. I'l add stuff tomorrow.

And sadly California does beat Florida... but nothing compares to Miami women👍
