This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I voided it guys 😳

Hope you all had a better test experience than I did! I was completely overwhelmed by VR and BS. 8 paragraph passages and 20 organic questions were all I can take🙂

Sigh. I guess I now know what I am doing for the christmas break. Hint: It's not gonna be fun

You hate organic? I wish I could get lots of orgo on my test. It sucks you voided. Hopefully next time you feel a lot better about it.

Oh nooooo dude, I was looking forward to being score twins in the beginning of October 🙁 Yeah, VR was pretty overwhelming. They were the longest passages I'd ever seen ever, and the questions were not straightforward at ALL. I just did my best to power through and not think about the pressure... I don't know. I'm so sorry it didn't go well for you, I know you studied really hard and got a really decent AAMC average. I know you'll pwn it in January.

Hmm... 20 organic questions, huh? My test had much, much less orgo than that, which I was happy for, since I'm better at bio. Except the bio it tested wasn't really anything you could've studied for anyway, so whatever. I hate how the 5 or so bio questions you could have studied for were all on one topic, and a topic I didn't particularly like.

Oh, and I've received my third new illness in two weeks: tonsillitis/pharyngitis. I totally knew I had something nasty hidden behind my adverse medication reaction and here it is, haha. Vaaaaaat is going on 😱

I happened to read this part without the contextual benefit of reading the posts before it and thought you wrote "scoring twins". Hence my reaction: 😱

tl;dr: I thought you were trying to score "twins" 😱

Already erased 95% of my MCAT knowledge.

Hahahaha I soooo want to party with you guys right now.

Our playlist would be so Bollywood it wouldn't even be funny.

I actually want to keep my MCAT knowledge: I kind of like it. Screw the PS stuff, but I really liked the BS knowledge I gained. I like knowing stuff about physio and hormones, so I'm going to try to maintain that as long as possible (read: until school starts). At least MCAT studying was a nice way to kick off a little genetics review for my genetics class! And kept my basic math skills fresh for Stats. And definitely kept my Biochem up for Biochem. Dunno about my poetry, though.

Btw, story time: Thought I saw Atul Gawande at a hospital I was shadowing at. Turns out to be someone else who looks kinda like him with really similar glasses and hair. I was disappoint.
