I am going to stay at my job until ~1st week of June. I really like my work but don't like the winter in Upstate NY 🙁

I'll hopefully be able to travel in either South Mexico or SoCal during the summer... or save the $ and buy a viola... 😀

Lol agreed, Its especially bad the day after leg day. The stairs that lead to my apartment become a crucible of pain and woe the day after leg day.

That being said I'm not sure about "right" fit. How do you know when it is right? The students you were interacting with could have a having a bad day, an upcoming test, a variety of variables. I'm not sure what you're right is but I hope you find it and the school that is for you. Good luck with your decision 🙂

Yeah I remember at one interview the students seemed off and not very talkative, but then when I asked my student host about it he was like oh well they had an exam every day that week or something. :naughty::naughty:

Just took the stairs right now. It was not fun. And I barely ran yesterday. 😳.

A couple of SOM related things have been going into my gmail spam lately (second-look invites, etc). Just FYI.

Though I'm sure we're all neurotic enough to scan our spam from time to time since the beginning of the application season anyway 🙂

Just checked my spam to see if anything important went there, good thing I did! I found out that a Nigerian prince wants me to help him smuggle over 10 million dollars, and if I help him, he will let me keep 9 million of it. Today was a good day.

Well, I didn't get millions if dollars, but I did get a special offer for a penis enlargement supplement. Worth just as much to me.

So... I just saw an episode of The Big Bang Theory and in Sheldon's office there was a plaque with "Sheldon Cooper, M.D." on it. NOT COOL! He's a physics PhD! Lol

There was an episode where Sheldon was trying to hook Penney up with a guy who "goes to med school at night" and no one found that funny but me. Lol
