🙂 Is UCI your first choice? I was told they don't have an in-state preference but IS folks tend to stay in CA more than OOS. I've also heard that the waitlist has a lot of movement. Where are you headed as of now? I hope that UCI comes through, then we can both enjoy sunny CA! :luck:

It is! I've heard that about the IS non-preference too, but then again my interviewer didn't even know that UCI accepted OOS students 🙄 As of now, I'm heading to Gtown, which I am actually really really excited about 🙂 But ya know, it's just not sunny CA :laugh:

Why did the father of the Boston bombing suspect say that his 19-year old son was studying medicine/in medical school? Wasn't it reported that he was enrolled in an undergrad university in Boston (University of Mass - Dartmouth)?

This guy conceivably just found out his sons killed people (in a pretty egregious way) and that one of them is also dead. Anyone would sound completely nuts in that situation.

For as much as everyone was preaching about questioning the media's agenda earlier, it didn't take long to jump on the bandwagon and accept that this guys is exactly how the media portrays him.

Uhhhh yeah because maybe they got it right after about 25 tries, that would be unacceptable in any other profession.
