It should just be legalized in general. Tobacco and alcohol do more harm to people and society than marijuana has/ will ever do.

Uh no. There will be no need for drug cartels to transport and distribute it illegally anymore. Where did that leap in logic come from?

Jealous! I'm just procrastinating (pretty darn hardcore, if I do say so myself) at work by posting heavily on SDN. LoL
 
Bah... I need to right an email to my top choice to ask for more (free) money while noting a small scholarship to state school... even though I'd attend it regardless of the cost difference (Save your go to the cheapest school lectures for someone who cares)

I did this and asked for more money from 1 school. Still waiting and the clock is running out....(trying to decide by tomorrow)...🙁

I called my school instead of email. Had a pretty good conversation with the dean.

I'm a weird dude; I can't stand calling and only did it like 5 times during the entirety of my application process. I get so awkward on the phone for some reason. It has something to do with not seeing anyone's face when I'm talking, which is such a weird feeling for me.

It's harder to say no or ignore someone when you call as opposed to email though.
 
I have the song Chillin by Wale stuck in my head....it just keeps playing over and over and over. And I haven't listened to it in weeks. I LOVE the brain.

The concerns leading up to the "ask" are far worse than what actually happens after you ask.

Asked after days of worry and got a prompt "nice, we'll see what we can do" response less than an hour after sending the dreaded email. I think it means they are just waiting for other scholarship holders to withdraw to see how much they have.

Also, I called first but was unable to speak to the Dean. Try calling first.

Yup I called FA director first and was directed to the dean instead for merit scholarship questions. It probably just depends on the school.
