Class of 2017!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!

Y'all have to see this. It's a game that drops you into google street view in a random place in the world, and you have to guess where you are. Getting closer gets you more points and you can do challenges against friends. Turns out the world has a lot of nondescript country roads. I've had multiple times when I was SURE I was somewhere in the midwest and it turned out I was in Africa.

It might look boring at first but it's really gratifying when you get a really obscure location down to within 0.1 km.

Unreal

Holy mother of Krishna, there was a great deal of banter in here over the wkd. So don't have time to catch up :/ Anyone care to provide a synopsis? Agent B? You're usually good at those. 😉

...Just realized I had Friday and Monday off and didn't check on those days, makes more sense now...

Cheers and g'mornin!

I always lift on an empty stomach (well, maybe some preworkout, like 8oz or a banana/fruit or some yogurt/oats a few hours beforehand). Dat bloat is not agreeable.

Same. Eating before working out is also a great way to feel super tired the entire time. First thing in the morning + fructose + caffeine is the way to go.

Nice! When's your last day?

Cause mine's in 3 days! :zip:

Holy crap I'm excited.

6/28 baby!! Less than 2 working weeks left!! I. CAN'T. WAIT!!! I also move into the medical frat house the day after on 6/29. It'll be a busy weekend. Thank god I don't have much to move.

Dude orientation is right around the corner guys....crazy!

Haha fortunately I've never had to deal with that.

I wish there was a thread where I could vent about how frustrating it is to see guys trying to lift heavy with **** form.

:boom:

Or curling in the squat rack. :nono:

I had to wait for a guy to finish his curls last week so I could squat - he doesn't even re-rack his weights, just leaves the bar there with 25s on it. And I won't even go into his form..

I don't usually work out in the morning. It's always evening so I'm tired anyways. Once the adrenaline kicks in I don't feel tired anymore

I also can't stand how there's always "that guy" that blatantly ignores the 20 or so flyers posted in the free-weight room explicitly prohibiting the slamming of weights. Said guy also tends to be the dude grunting like a constipated Grizzly bear with dysentery at a good 150dB. 😡

I'd prefer to go in the afternoon, but I usually can't get off work until 5 or 6, and the gym I use is insaaaanely crowded from 5 until pretty much 10pm. Nobody goes there in the morning so it works out better that way.

Haha yeah... they started posting pictures of broken dumbbells all around the gym I go to.

Sigs don't show up in the mobile app. What does it say?!

In other news, I think the only thing I dislike more than packing is unpacking. Good morning peeps!

If you click on the post and click "more" and click "view profile" it will show you in the mobile app.

Hahaha, that's awesome. You should pencil in a "RIP" with a sharpie. 😛

Hahaha oh yeah....THAT guy. He's usually some random **** with a beta complex.

Haha, just yesterday I watched the kid next to me go from squatting nearly parallel to like 3 inches depth as he worked up from no weight to 285. I always wonder if I should say something...

Hahaha what would you say? Hey bro...

Hahaha what would you say? Hey bro...

Probably something along the lines of "dude, have you ever wondered why all the other people you see squatting that much weight are way more muscular than you?"

I mean really, this kid was like a buck fifty soaking wet.

Hahaha pure quality.

How about the guy who throws 225 on the bench, unracks it, proceeds to bounce the bar off his chest, struggle to put it up once, racks it, gets up and takes his squatting belt off acting like a bad***....really bro?

Yeah, I struggle with the same thing. It's really frustrating because there's sooooo much information available online. Part of me thinks saying something would actually be a favor to them, because they're basically wasting time and developing dangerous habits. It's not like I'm an expert on technique, but it really is easier to spot mistakes from an outside perspective. I wish people had given me more tips when I started about a year ago to be honest.

Yeah the chest bounce is lame. It's also lame when you see the guy who benches with the bar about a foot away from his chest.

He probably would benefit from the advice

How about lat pull downs where he puts 200 lbs on and swings his back up and down essentially ruining his form, wasting energy and potentially screwing up his lower back....

Top!

Haha yeah. Any kind of swinging is hard to watch. It's even worse when they get cocky and look around with that "yeah I'm lifting heavier than everyone" look.

Also, I'm totally rocking an identical stache to the one your avatar is sporting right now. I even bought stache wax to pull it off. I've been turning heads rather frequently, lol.

Keep it for orientation!
