Damn it. I was going to be so productive about packing today, but then fb chat happened.
 
Just found out I qualify to use my dad's GI bill for the first two and a half years of medical school!

Thanks, but it is my dad that deserved the congrats. He served for 28 years.

But that is full tuition, fees, books and a living stipend ($1,500 a month) on top of any other scholarships I get. The only downside is I can't use it after I turn 26.

I just have to get the paperwork turned in and approved. I double checked the VA website and they list M.D. as one of the approved degrees!!!

Omg I am using a real computer for the first time in 6 weeks...my 13 inch screen feels so big and the touch pad feels so weird. And I apparently forgot how to type on a keyboard. I have been back in America for an hour and I already had In n Out.....😳
 
Dang....my titer for varicella came back negative....now I get to redo the vaccine series. So sick of this vaccination crap...

Problem: I'm finding that the threads in which I could be helpful are few and far between. It seems like every discussion turns into the same old debates over and over. So many trolls! But I have a 2 year membership. Lol. So I can't just walk away.

We need troll repellant!
 
Lol, just got a rejection letter from Vanderbilt. Apparently I've been waitlisted for months and didn't know it, thought I got silently rejected ages ago.

I did! I got sucked in.. ONCE! I will not do it again. I will not a defend my degree, especially on an anonymous forum. Lol.

It's funny tho. I was one of those premeds who didn't want to do DO because of the stigma. Funny how one failed app cycle and a full scholarship will change your mind. Lol.
