Class of 2017!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!

Holy crap. I was planning to move in a little over month but I might move in 2 weeks or less. That escalated quickly.

I ended up securing housing for July, which I didn't think was actually going to happen. So I'm paying rent starting next month in Seattle, and I think the extra time to meet folks & learn the city will be good. But it means saying goodbye to my current city faster than I was expecting...but then again it's only a 3 hour drive.

Maybe this is too early, but what anatomy atlas are folks getting? I found a deal where I can get the Netter flashcards free with the Netter atlas, but I am also hearing people say that Thieme's Atlas is better.

I used Thieme's in grad school. IMO, it was really useful when used with lecture notes.

Have Netters already. Also getting Rohen.

Yeah kinda sounds like my situation. Found the perfect house but they werent willing to wait for me to move until July. I had to start paying rent today meaning I have to move sooner than anticipated.

So - just watched a documentary about videogames and the Donkey Kong world record..

King of Kong

It was quite good, but I couldn't help but cringe at some of the people in the movie. Funny enough, the current record is held by a plastic surgeon.. 🙄

I have Rohen. The pics/presentation is A+.. Highly recommend it, esp to be different...

To bad your body won't be that beautifully done.

Hahaha I'll be lucky if my body is half that good......

Hangover is finally starting to go away. A few too many games of Beerio were played last night.

In that case:

My fave is Old Rasputin Imperial Stout...I can only handle drinking one of those though, it's a ridiculously strong beer. And stouts are better in the winter anyway. I'm still trying to develop a taste for IPAs...sometimes it seems like brewries around here are having a competition for who can fit the most hops into one bottle.

IPAs.. agreed. Very hit and miss for me - the bitterness is redonkulous sometimes.

I love me some Guinness though.

IPA's....love em. Best beer in the world! Its an acquired taste though. I recommend Stone's IPA. Super hoppy and pretty strong but you really learn to appreciate it.

Anyone here planning on going on a small trip before school starts? If so, where to?

I start first week of august and my parents surprised me with a chance to go anywhere I want for about 10 days...I just feel like I'll be cutting it close and not sure if I should do it or not...

Already went! Got to go to Oregon and visit my sister for 9 days. It was nice to just chill out!

DO ITTTT

Hike to Machu Picchu or something.

I plan to do some camping soon, and then a scholarship foundation is buying me a ticket to a leadership conference in DC at the end of July. Which is great because I didn't really get to check it out much when I was there for my GW interview.

Ya!

I don't drink beer I can see through 😀

😍

In undergrad my friends and I used to play a drinking game called "The Rasputin Challenge." I never successfully completed it (probably a good thing), but it involved sitting on a couch and finishing all four before being able to stand up.
