I plan to do some camping soon, and then a scholarship foundation is buying me a ticket to a leadership conference in DC at the end of July. Which is great because I didn't really get to check it out much when I was there for my GW interview.

I bought new pumas about two weeks ago. My previous shoes were on their last legs (no pun intended) and I decided to splurge on shoes.

Well, the bottom of one of them split yesterday while walking my dog. Just simply walking a 12 year old Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix (that's manly right there) so nothing rough/extreme about the walk.



I had to ride my bike to work today because I didn't want to step in a puddle and have a wet foot all day.

I don't live close enough. It was an 1.5 hour drive, so I would be better off spending the $30 on gas to just buy better shoes closer to home.

I tried to email pumas, so maybe that will work out. Who knows, it is still frustrating.

Went in to get my car appraised to sell off before I leave and the dealership took off 3k off the KBB price to repaint a panel and change out the tires -_- I hate dealers, but I hate dealing with craigslist even more so I guess I'll take the hit...

Are you using straps? When I was into heavy power lifting type stuff I could always seem to get an extra 50 lbs or so using those bad boys. They start to cut your wrists after awhile though.

Thats a good idea. There will be a point though where you have no choice unfortunately...trust me. Lol if you arent already, try throwing in some pullups to help with grip too!
